“I stopped here for lunch on my way to Florida. The staff is real friendly especially Val and Tasha. I wanted to try their new Fried Pickles with Ranch dip. They were ok not exactly what I expected.
I also ordered their special 2 for $5 menu item. Whopper Jr, Fries, and 4 Piece Chicken Nuggets. and a Drink. You can’t beat that deal.
My bf ordered two Cheeseburgers, Fries and a Drink.
My food was ready very quickly.
The food was how I remember it. I don’t eat a lot of fast food. I occasionally love their flame broiled burgers.
The dining room was a nice size. It was very clean with a few flat screens for viewing. On one area was a bunch of Burger King Hats to for the taking.
I was in and out in approximately 20 minutes”

“I recently visited a charming eatery - Kay’s Cafe’ - in Pembroke, NC - that left me absolutely impressed! The large cheeseburger I ordered was nothing short of perfection. The lettuce was incredibly crisp and fresh, the tomatoes tasted like they were hand picked straight from the garden still dripping with early morning dew, and the juicy hamburger with cheese was generously stacked between a soft sesame seed bun, perfectly complemented by just the right amount of mayonnaise, just the way I like it. And let's talk about their Sweet iced tea - it was so mouthwatering that I couldn't resist almost finishing it off before my order was ready! To top it off, the potato salad was a nostalgic delight, reminding me of the comforting flavors of my Grandma's own recipe. The menu truly exceeded my expectations, making me already planning my next trip to Kay’s Cafe’ in Pembroke, NC just to savor their delicious offerings again!”

“My wife and I had lunch today at KC Steak and BBQ. We had the lunch buffet. They’ve always put out a wide variety of food options and today was no different. I had fried chicken and pork chops, BBQ, corn bread dressing with gravy, okra, rutabagas, candied yams, fat back, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, with delicious yeast rolls. It’s difficult not to try and little of everything. But seriously this was just a limited list of things available. Not to mention all the delicious desserts. We’ve been coming here for years and we always have a great lunch or dinner. It’s also one of the few steak restaurants were your able to order steak cooked to order. Believe me it’s really worth the drive if you’re not local. Sorry I only chose to rate it 4 star on atmosphere because today it was extremely hot outside and the AC wasn’t working really well. Luckily though we sat near a ceiling fan and it made it better.”

“Excellent meal start to finish. Huge fresh salad bar. Tasty French onion soup... not salty, just perfect. Porterhouse steak (best of both worlds) seared to perfection! No room for desert. Had nice crusty Italian bread. Excellent service. Few minutes wait to be seated. Clean, friendly staff, quality meal start to finish! Reasonably priced!”

““Come back, my friend”Andy makes you feel welcomed soon as you open the door. It’s nothing like a Cheeseburger All The Way and order of fries. Handmade with real meat cooked right in front of you. Where else can you go and get a homemade cheeseburger and fries for $5.75.”

“We had a great experience at this restaurant. We were visiting our son and it was a great family restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food from the pizza to chicken fingers. The waitress was very sweet and checked on us several times. We would definitely return to this restaurant!”

“Today I was driving in the direction of Edna’s Kitchen and decided to stop by and treat myself to a nice snack. I ordered the onion rings and a delicious juicy REAL BEEF, burger for my nephew. I got for myself a fish sandwich and some of those REAL potatoe fries. YES, they cut real potatoes to make their fries!!! To top it all off I had their delicious ice tea. I like to have them mix it with their lemonade which is THE BEST!!! I recently relocated from New Jersey and I heard so many GREAT things about Edena’s Kitchen and their great tasting food and signature iced tea, that I am so happy I stopped by to treat my palette to this delicious, downhome, food. The place seemed to be very busy which is a good sign because the locals obviously love Edna’s Kitchen also. I give Edna’s Kitchen 10 STARS and 3 SNAPS!!!! Do yourself the favor and stop by for some food eatin. You’ll be glad you did.”
