Excellent restaurant! El Ranchero has delicious food, fast service, great waiters & other staff, and reasonable prices. We discovered it about six weeks ago and have been there every Saturday since then!
I was impressed with the food and service with this place compared to all the other Mexican restaurants in town. The food was very favorful and the margarita didn't taste like just a cup of margarita mix like the others. My next review will be in regards to consistency due to this being my first trip.
We had just left the movie theatre and wanted to grab something quick for dinner. I was craving stir fry but Roxboro does not have a good oriental restaurant. We decided on El Ranchero and I ordered Fajitas Texanas holding the beans and rice. Which came out sizzling hot. My husband had the Taco Salad, holding the beans and rice due to health issues. He said it tasted fresh and he would order it again. My husband also decided to try the fried ice cream which he had to bring home....
