Visiting from north Florida. Last week had the fried chicken dinner and the catfish basket. Had to come back and get more catfish baskets (shown in photo)! Sides of green beans, slaw, and fries were what I expected. Chicken and hush puppies were very good, but the catfish was the BEST I've ever had and at a very reasonable price too! The restaurant is attached to an antiques store with lots of neat stuff to look at while waiting for your food!

We were antiquity and everyone raved about the food truck which comes here a few days a week. You must try the catfish!!!!! We came back the following day to check it out. These locals were not exaggerating. The food was fresh, delicious and a decent portion. They're situated next door to an antique store and the decor of the restaurant is perfect. It transports you back to the 1920's and other older dates. The owner Jimmy and his daughter Haley were an absolute pleasure to speak with. I will be recommending this local small business to all of our friends and anyone that wants to listen. If you're in the mood for a good and fresh catfish sandwich you won't be disappointed. We will be back to sample other things in the menu. Well done Carolina Catfish Company.

What a fun place to have lunch! The catfish, hush puppies and tartersauce are all Jimmy's recipes. Frankie and Tammie have done a great job with Vintage Dive Bombers and Jimmy's daughter Haley was an attentive hostess. By all means stop in. Jimmy is working out of his food truck and there's a place to sit down inside the store. He caters, so he's not there all the time, but catch him if you can.

They catered an event in Rutherford Co. All I got to say is, some of the BEST tasting food I've had in a long time. Traveling from Morganton to try their restaurant. The folks and food are fantastic. ????

I got the combination. Tasty and cooked right catfish and chicken fillets. Slaw and some of the best seasoned green beans I’ve had in a long time. Hush puppies and French fries make it an all you can eat plate.Will be back for sure.
