We love Maples on Main! Everything we’ve tried has been freshly made and DELICIOUS! The staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming! We had the Nitty Gritty bowls for breakfast this morning. YUM! I’m super picky when it comes to pastries but their cinnamon roll was an easy 10/10 and fresh out of the oven. We highly recommend going to Maples on Main for amazing food and a friendly atmosphere!

The responses from the owner on bad reviews is very off putting. Like “ feel better?” “ No soup for you.”Seriously? That’s how you respond to customers’ complaints? We have eaten here before but after reading the owner’s nasty responses to bad reviews instead of a genuine care for the customer, we decided not to support this business. What if we have a bad experience , will we be chastised too or will it be remedied? Based on how the owner treats dissatisfied customers, we won’t return. I suggest you look at the owners’ responses to bad reviews. So rude.

Strange experience to say the least. My wife and i came in and ordered food and coffees. We were there for an hour and had to ask for our coffees because it seemed like nothing was being made for how long we had been there. There were dirty tables that were sitting since we walked in and everyone working did not seem like they knew what to do at all. There was one person that seemed like the only adult in the building with an ounce of common sense and he was the one cooking everything. I ordered the chicken and waffles and i received frozen chicken tenders and a waffle the size of an eggo.

Atmosphere is great! Coffee was good. Scrambled eggs were dry, cooked in batches.You can't order a simple, fried egg?!?! "I'm sorry...our fried eggs are reserved for our sandwiches only". Sausage was overcooked, and the replacement was no different.My very particular MIL said she would have preferred Waffle House "at least I can order an egg the way I want".

These people are doing the lords work back there in that kitchen. Don’t know if I’ll ever be back to Rutherfordton, but I’ll always remember that chicken n waffle

Biscuits were hard and kind of on the over cooked side. Gravy tasted like it wasn’t fresh, my eggs were crumbly. Super expensive for below average food ?
Honestly if I could put no stars I would ?♀️. Me and my friend wanted to have brunch today so we decided to stop by maples on main, I ordered the pancake breakfast and the eggs that came with it looked absolutely TERRIBLE they looked like they had been sitting there for a day and a half prior to them serving them to me , the potatoes that came with it was a very tiny portion barely enough to fill up a child. I was honestly so happy about trying this restaurant but it ended up being VERY underwhelming and VERY unsatisfying and the food is extremely overpriced. The only good thing about our experience here was the girls who took our order they were very sweet and friendly.

The menus got me really excited and then our food came out and I was instantly disappointed. The portions are extremely reserved and way overpriced. The kitchen was unable to make me eggs to order and when my scrambled eggs came out they were hard and crumbly. I ordered the breakfast bowl expecting it to fill me up but was disappointed when I found a bowl filled with mostly spinach and a small hand full of potatoes. I had to add ketchup and hot sauce to make it edible. I will say the candied bacon was great but the pastries looked about a day and a half old. The atmosphere and service was great I just wished the menu lived up to its potential.

I haven't actually tried this place but I do doordash and everytime I have come here staff has been very kind and they have parking In back so doordashers don't have to cross the street which is very convenient.
