Great pit stop on a long drive. The chicken is huge and plentiful and always fresh. One of the best fast food options on a long road trip next to a Love's gas station.

Food was good, the only downside was the fries were room temperature and some pieces of chicken tasted like burned breading. Cheaper than Popeyes and KFC for a family meal. The apple pies are a must.

Did a quick gas & restroom stop. Although service was slow and it was a little pricey, I have to recommend the chicken tenders and potato wedges at Chester's. They were delicious!

Me and my daughter stopped here a couple weeks ago. The livers weren’t ready and we were told by a girl that it would be 6 minutes, no one was friendly and horrible customer service. Me and my husband stopped today to get livers, they were 6 people standing there, staring at us. No one tried taking our order until I asked, who was going to take it. After ordering 3 liver plates, we were just started at saying “we don’t have livers”, they didn’t proceed to say if they were our or if all 6 employees, just wanted to stand there and stated and not do their jobs and not work. I’ll never go back here. When you walk in, no one greets you and they have RBF.

This is the first time ive ever tried Chester’s and I’m not impressed at all. The chicken is dry. The macaroni tastes like it was sitting out all day. I will not be back
I've never been to a Chester's Chicken and they have gizzards ready and today didn't disappoint. Got to this location on lunch break to be told gizzards will take 20 mins to make. Ask about legs and was told 30 mins to make. Then I asked about wings and was once again told 45 mins to make. Why does anyone supposed to go there for lunch and have to wait 45 mins for chicken to be cooked at a chicken joint. Upper management, you need to step in and do something with the Salisbury, NC location. Don't bother wasting your time on this place.

I always go through all the shesters during my work, almost all the states everything is super good, I come here every time it happens, there is never anything cooked, you have to wait for them to put the kitchen on, I understand it could be a very busy place, put 2 more people so that They work and help each other and thus always have everything ready at all times, there are only 2 people working. Help these people, put 2 or 3 people to help them.

Waited over 10 min for chicken bites and still don't have them. While waiting went from 3 employees to no employees. Being a customer wanting to spend money seemed to inconvenience the staff. Not only did I walk away empty handed so did 2 other customers. Great product means nothing with poor customer service. Still trying to figure out why it takes 10-15 to prepare chicken bites.

Best chicken tenders I ever had, I was driving NC to live in CA , stopped at flying J truck stop 2020 , on my drive back to NC 2022, overtime we stopped to get Chester's chicken, they were sold out.
