The food is not made as well as it used to and when they changed the trays it messed everything up. I used to love this place. It definitely needs a refresher or something.

This was my first Cookout visit after it being recommended to me by multiple UVA students. It was indeed revolutionary. Portions were somewhat small, but because it's so affordable, I'd just recommend loading up with multiple items. I got the Butter Finger milkshake and one of the combo meals and all were delicious. I love that they have so many flavors for the milkshakes.

I usually love coming here for milkshakes and always get Oreo, Reese’s, and Strawberry Cheesecake mixed. Today was disappointing. The milkshake I received was extremely thin—nothing like the thick shakes this place is known for. It also seemed like they skipped my Oreo topping, and it felt like they watered it down to cover it up. I wouldn’t have minded paying for extra toppings if needed, but please don’t try to cut corners. Very disappointed with this visit.

Just like every other Cookout in America - employees who don't care, lines that are way too long, and average food. If you want to wait a half an hour for a barbecue plate and a milkshake this is your place. One line with 15 cars in it is unacceptable - restaurant doors closed at 7:45 pm. Management should learn something from Chick-Fil-A.

Perfected my dam order, they asked for my name, got handed somebody else’s order, ate it anyways because I didn’t wanna go back through the long az drive thru. Threw the Diet Coke in the parking lot 0/10
I had the best experience tonight at this cookout. The line moved quick, the crew was friendly, and my food was HOT! They ever asked if I wanted sauce at the window 🤩 Fantastic experience tonight

I came here 2 different times last weekend and both times they made my Cajun Chicken sandwich wrong. There was only 1 piece of bacon in my bacon wrap. And never received my extra Cajun for my fries. Definitely will not be back to this location. Oh and also received the wrong milk shake on my 2nd visit.
