This is my very favorite BBQ place anywhere! The food is delicious. BBQ, BBQ chicken, or the daily special. The hushpuppies are hot and flavorful. The service is quite good, and the vibe is retro fun. I can't go to Salisbury without my Hendrix.
I'd say it's a secret gem, but the cat is out of the bag. I'm reasonably well travelled and it is my favorite place for BBQ in Salisbury. That said, Salisbury is my hometown and I am biased.
Salisbury has wonderful barbeque all over compared to other parts of NC--especially the more developed areas. College Barbeque around the corner IS the best pulled pork barbeque because they still have a smoke pit.

I was fast service and I got the food to go for my daughter before school.It was okay,the eggs looked funny and the hash browns were so hard you could barely chew them. May e they were having a bad day!!
