My friend introduced me to their coffee months ago when she gifted me with bags of their coffee for Christmas. My husband and I were immediately hooked. We have now tried about 5 different blends and they're all so good.

Yesterday, we finally made it 2 hours away to visit them in person. We ordered drinks and bought 3 bags of coffee. Everything was perfect. We have decided we'll make the trip every couple of months for our coffee supply.

They are insanely busy (we did go on a Saturday morning). I don't think I've ever waited in line so long at a coffee shop but it's worth it.

I would love a larger iced drink size if that's ever an option. I'm an addict.

Not sure how my last review was deleted!! But like I stated OWNER WAS VERY RUDE..didn’t give me or my colleague a chance to come inside to order assumed we wasn’t purchasing anything! REMIND YOU this was our lunch break so yes we had our outside food sitting OUTSIDE! All of 2 minutes!!!! HAS TO BE because we were BLACK! IT WAS A different crowd (another race) of 6 only one had coffee from this location!!!and the rest had outside drinks n food no issue!! Owner gave us a nasty look and even swatted HER hand at us her and another lady! as if she was highly disgusted with US if you know what I mean.. TOTALLY disappointed in this visit and me and my colleague come every week! WILL NOT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN wonder how many more people of color feel this way about this establishment!

If you’re anywhere near Koco Java, do yourself a favor and stop in. This is hands down my absolute favorite coffee shop. Every drink I’ve had has been amazing and they take the time to create monthly specials.
What really sets this place apart though is the people. The owners are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet, and you can feel the heart they’ve poured into this place. I’d do anything to take my hometown coffee shop with me wherever I go.

My wife and I split a Frappuccino, our favorite. You could definitely tast the beans. Had great deep flavor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shop was clean. Had a cozy atmosphere. Good experience.

Busiest place in town!!! Conveniently located in the HEART of Historic Salisbury. Best coffee in the state, hands down. You can’t ask for better. This family owned, local business is passionate about serving their customers the highest quality beverages and assorted pastry’s. They’re constantly creating new monthly specials that continue to impress! I recommend this business to any and all! We buy their coffee beans and use them at home as well. Jingle Bell and Salisbury Blend are personal favorites! This place has it all figured out!

I bought 2 bags of fragrant coffee beans (intoxicating!) and ordered a 16 oz. breve dirty chai and an Asiago bacon bagel with cream cheese 🥯 the bagel tasted amazing (bacon AND cheddar baked in!); however, the chai did not have the requested espresso shot, was lukewarm, wayyy too sweet and had hardly any chai flavor at all. In fact, it just tasted like syrupy, weak tea. Disappointing. They were too busy, so I didn’t ask them to remake it. All six of the baristas seemed harried and distracted. Several items came out at once and I had to ask a barista (who looked irritated at the interruption) which food item was mine, because they were not marked and I didn’t want to open someone else’s order. So she had to open each bag and look inside to differentiate them, an inefficient process. (Why not just mark the items with a sharpie when they’re made?) While waiting, I looked up and noticed about 5 year’s worth of dust layering the otherwise trendy steampunk light fixtures. (Time to invest in a retractable Swiffer duster, owners). Lastly, the tight corner parking lot and high traffic volume made parking and walking into the establishment a logistical nightmare. If I return, I will wait until evening when hopefully it’s less busy.
