I am posting in Place for my Wife. She never wanted to give a review but I am. Before our wedding My bride had been through a lot. And our original plans for our wedding was destroyed by Covid. So in a scramble to still have her dream wedding and having to relocate and find all new vendors at the last minute, she was on the hunt to find a new baker to take on the last minute wedding cake order. After endless hours searching and reading reviews she found “The cake attic” with such outstanding reviews she reached out to Soraya. She was unable to offer a cake tasting so we went on blind faith this would be good. All the reviews seemed perfect. Our cake was absolutely stunning to look at. We chose her fall flavor called “burnt brown sugar” Soraya assured her it was one of her most popular flavors. My wife trusted her and let her to do what she does best. That night of the wedding the cake was so hard it was like sawing into it to get a piece out. And that first bite made us both make the awfullest face. My wife later informed Soraya of the disappointment in the cake and let it be. My review is simply because unfortunately people keep bringing up the horrible cake she had at our wedding in October. They make jokes and though she laughs it off with them, I can see how much it bothers her. The cake apparently is just as important as the wedding Gown on that most important day of a brides life and now instead of a happy proud Memory, my wife now has to live with the jokes and reminders of “ hey remember how horrible your cake was…or to a new bride to be… hey don’t order your cake from whoever they got theirs from” it truly breaks her spirit and though she keeps a good attitude about it all, it bothers her deep down and therefore it bothers me. Please I encourage you to always always do a cake tasting, specially if you are spending a large sum on a cake for a special event. Soraya didn’t even try to make it right in anyway. Just used excuses that her husband and friend ate the leftover batter she made into smaller cakes and they loved it and she was sorry. Highly disappointed in the owner and this business.i gave 2 stars only because you can see from the pictures she has a great talent for decorating cakes. It was pretty to look at and that’s it!

We had a 5 tier, cookies and creme cake and it tasted wonderful. The design was exactly what I imagined and everyone raved over how beautiful it looked. I would recommend this company to everyone!
