Small portion size compared to other japenese restaurants, the teriyaki chicken I ordered had no sauce it was basically hibachi and was chewy from grisle and not cooked properly when I called the young unprofessional staff was rude and said it was nothing they could do. I love japanese but this was the WORST I EVER had!!!!!!

I believe when you make an order and it automatically comes with broccoli and mushrooms that you should have the option to tell put it on the side because they add it to the plate in the kitchen so why not just take that scoop and put it on the side but you're told you can't do that you to get it with it or without it. I believe that is 100% terrible service and option for the customer when I'm already paying for it You're basically saying you're paying for it but if you don't want it on the plate then you're not getting it at all that's terrible 100% terrible in a young lady that was helping me with it was very rude and obnoxious not the original Tokyo Express that I remember here in Salisbury years ago I don't even know what to think about this stuff now it's really something to see and something to make you not want to come back and deal with their attitudes

The Togo girl didn’t wanna put my mushrooms on the side, even though it came with my order. She said if I wanted extra mushrooms I would have to pay. But I didn’t want extra, I just wanted them on the side. I asked her why it would be extra if I got them on the side and that’s when she said she wasn’t going to take my order anymore… I’m a manager at a local restaurant. I know how this works. That to go girl needs to get fired.

I have lived in the area for 6 years now. My son and I really love it. The customer service is always a 10/10 and the food is always good. Yes, the line could be long sometimes but the wait is never too long. The young ladies who take my order and bring it out to me are always so sweet and respectful. ☺️
