Back Alley Barn "Saluda's Tavern"

I recommend anyone looking for GREAT food should go to Ward’s Grill, Saluda, NC. You won’t find a better hamburger anywhere else!! I give it a Five star and would give more if possible. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and in a cute small town!! PS: The Barn out back service great wings and adult drinks too!!

Ward’s is an institution. Josh and his team show they love their visitors. Everything is made fresh, with a side of conversation and a smile!

Wards Grill is our favorite place to eat and Josh is always up to the challenge to make you something spicy. The whole crew there is awesome and friendly with everyone that comes in. They also have the best burgers in town and also do not forget to try there other establishments the back alley barn.

Came in May. Had buffalo cauliflower and Asian ribs. Delish! Great live band and outside atmosphere.

I walked in to get something to go, and was told they were closed. I drove from Bat Cave, and will never go there again. The food is not all that good anyways and I'd forgot about the HAIR IN MY FOOD

BRANDY WAS THE BEST BARTENDER I HAVE CAME ACROSS SINCE MOVING HERE!!! HER CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING, SHE HAD SUCH A WELCOMING SPIRIT. I RECOMMEND ANYONE IN THE SALUDA AREA TO COME AND SEE HER SHE IS SO AMAZING. ME AND MY HUSBAND WILL BE COMING BACK EVERY WEEKEND! They also have the best food in town.

Pork rinds and homemade pimento cheese still sizzling when they arrive! Just wish Wards were closer. Love this gem.

Every detail, from the days of early planning, to serving our guests dinner, was made easier by the professionals at Ward’s Grill. It was a joy working with the staff of Ward’s Grill, and they continuously impressed my family with their responsiveness and willingness to accommodate a range of requests. We served guests the BBQ Menu from Ward’s Grill catering menu, and added the Banana Pudding dessert as an add-on. The BBQ we had was delicious, and our guests raved about the food. It is hands down the best food I have ever enjoyed at a wedding, and Ward’s Grill brought their A-Game for our guests. The Banana Pudding was divine and our guests loved it. Whether you’re looking for a fantastic new restaurant for weekly dinners, or a creative and attentive catering option for your next event, Ward’s Grill has my highest recommendation. I had lunch at wards today for the first time. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and onion rings. the burger was perfectly seasoned and was amazing. I definitely give my meal a 10/10...I will definitely be back!!

We did have to ait in an alley that wasn't very tidy to eat since we had a dog. But food was delish
