My wife and I just celebrated Valentine's Day 2026 here for dinner tonight. Never in my life have I wanted to loudly tell every soul I can reach what I really thought about an establishment, and at the same time want to keep my mouth shut so the secret doesn't get out. It appears they limit the number of reservations they take to allow proper service to the guests that make them in time. Did I enjoy it, you ask? I already made a reservation for Mother's Day Brunch and Valentine's Day 2027 on my way out of the restaurant. Make of that information what you will, and act accordingly.

Newman's Restaurant was our choice for a special Valentine's Day dinner. The closest we could get a reservation was two days before Valentine's Day. We could see why. The seating is limited, which is very nice. Quiet music played in the background. The limited choices on the four-course menu were all tempting. Our bill was pricey, but well-worth it for a special occasion. We never felt rushed and were able to fully enjoy each course. We will come back, making our next reservation well in advance.

As always, pure perfection! The food was excellent, especially the Beef Tenderloin and Duck. Exceptional pairings and desserts. Even more remarkable is the hospitality and efficiency of all the staff! Any meal at Newman's is great, but the Dickens Dinner is the best! The effort that is made in all areas produces the perfect Christmas ambiance!

Stay there for thanksgiving dinner. The breakfast was great however very disappointed with thanksgiving buffet dinner. Some food was cold and dry . When asked how was our meal we informed them we were very disappointed. However we had a wonderful Mountain View suite a few steps away.
