My wife and I just celebrated Valentine's Day 2026 here for dinner tonight. Never in my life have I wanted to loudly tell every soul I can reach what I really thought about an establishment, and at the same time want to keep my mouth shut so the secret doesn't get out. Newman's Restaurant was our choice for a special Valentine's Day dinner. The closest we could get a reservation was two days before Valentine's Day. We could see why. The seating is limited, which is very nice. Quiet music played in the background. The limited choices on the four-course menu were all tempting. As always, pure perfection! The food was excellent, especially the Beef Tenderloin and Duck. Exceptional pairings and desserts. Even more remarkable is the hospitality and efficiency of all the staff! Any meal at Newman's is great, but the Dickens Dinner is the best! The effort that is made in all areas produces the perfect Christmas ambiance!
