We had a delicious and thoughtfully prepared meal ...Tumeric Chickpea Soup start followed by the perfect fall preparation of salmon with spaghetti squash and the juiciest, tastiest pork chop. Service was kind and attentive and atmosphere charming . We will be back

The Purple Onion is a must-visit restaurant in a small town, known for its delicious food and charming atmosphere. The standout dish is the veggie Reuben, which is worth traveling for. Recent reviews highlight the Tumeric Chickpea Soup as a great start, followed by the perfect fall preparation of salmon with spaghetti squash and the juiciest, tastiest pork chop. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing excellent service, although some guests noted moments of impatience. Despite being busy, the service remains impressive, making for a great dining experience. The bar area is cozy, and the bartender is highly praised for making guests feel at home. Guests have enjoyed dishes like Greek Salad, Blue Crab small plate, and Mediterranean Salad, often describing them as outstanding or the best they’ve had. The ambiance is lively, especially during concerts, with performances by talented musicians creating a positive atmosphere. Desserts, including the blackberry dessert and white chocolate bread pudding, are also highly recommended, with some guests taking them home for breakfast. The Purple Onion continues to be an excellent choice for a delightful meal and enjoyable music in a charming setting.
