Loved the food and impressed with the service. I was mostly there to hear Michael Reno Harrell.. This was my fifth time hearing him, all at the Purple Onion. He did NOT disappoint. I came with a group of five. We all loved the entire evening.

We rented an ABNB in Saluda and chose the Purple Onion for our first night. Got there early and sat at the bar which was very cozy. The bartender, namely Mandy, was fantastic and made us feel right at home, like regulars. Based on that great experience we decided to have our meal at the bar as well. I had the Greek Salad and their special Blue Crab small plate - both were outstanding. My bride has the Mediterranean Salad - the best she ever had...... Highly recommend this establishment,...

Aaron BURDETT concert at the Purple Onion on Sunday was fantastic! The ambiance was positive and the audience treated the place like a listening room. And why not? Aaron, Kim on base and Lisa on banjo were such good performers, we all wanted to listen. Thank you to the Onion for bringing us such good music in Saluda! What a gem. ❤️
