Wakey Monkey has the kindest owners. I had some packages that were misdelivered to their door instead of my home - they brought them inside from the rain and held them for me until I could get there. Also, their homemade breakfast and lunch is always delicious! We are so lucky to have this sweet little café in our town.

Mondays Adventures
We were in town for Prepper Camp and decided to do something different on Sunday. Wakey Monkey was a great choice. The coffee was tasty and the sandwiches we chose really tasted great! I went with the PBT - pimento cheese, bacon and tomato jam on a croissant. This was the first time I have had a combo like that and it was amazing! The cafe was a little small but packed with a lot of character… especially the window seat feature.

I ride up to Saluda at least twice a month from Greenville SC just to have breakfast and coffee at Wakey Monkey. The coffee is the best and the bacon egg and cheese croissant makes the drive worth it. Eric is a great guy and I enjoy the laid back atmosphere.

It’s worth the trip. If you’re in Saluda and they’re open, just go, even if it’s just to grab a coffee. It’s not on the main road but GPS will take you right to it.
