If you're looking for a tasty meal, with great customer service as well, the folks at Ward's are WONDERFUL! My husband is very fussy when it comes to his food and out of everywhere we've ever been for breakfast, Josh at Ward's makes HANDS DOWN THE BEST omelette around!!! We usually go to their Saturday Southern Breakfast Buffet, but occasionally we'll also go during the week for their "regular menu" breakfast. It's seriously worth going twice in a week!!! 👍🏼👍🏼❤️
Go check out this classic Americana restaurant in historic downtown. The owner works hard to provide good food and takes pride in what he does.
I recommend anyone looking for GREAT food should go to Ward’s Grill, Saluda, NC. You won’t find a better hamburger anywhere else!! I give it a Five star and would give more if possible. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and in a cute small town!! PS: The Barn out back service great wings and adult drinks too!!
Ward’s is an institution. Josh and his team show they love their visitors. Everything is made fresh, with a side of conversation and a smile!
The best grill in town and safe!

Wards Grill is our favorite place to eat and Josh is always up to the challenge to make you something spicy. The whole crew there is awesome and friendly with everyone that comes in. They also have the best burgers in town and also do not forget to try there other establishments the back alley barn.
Stopped by for lunch with seven other people while we're out on a day ride on our motorcycles.
The place was very welcoming. Definitely has that old-time grill/diner feel.
Most everybody enjoyed their lunch. The corn nuggets were fantastic. The hot dogs were pretty good. Add chili on one and sauerkraut on the other. Both were excellent. The only real disappointment was the fried green tomatoes. Too much breading and not enough tomato. The only other food comment was from my buddy who got the chicken nuggets. They were swimming in way too much sauce. But otherwise tasted good.
Service was pretty good, but at no point was anybody offered any sort of drink refill.

What a throwback in time sitting in the cute town of Saluda, North Carolina is a wonderful diner. The food is outstanding reasonably priced and outstanding service. Audrey was our waitress and she went above and beyond to take care of all of our dining needs. She was a delight And seemed to enjoy her job and she also made wonderful recommendations. We will be back.

What a fantastic place for lunch. We had the Philly cheese steak, fried okra, fried pickles, fried green tomatoes and a wonderful classic cheese burger. The environment and food hit the spot! We are looking forward to eating there again soon!

This was my husband and I first time visiting and I must say the old country feel was incredible. So much history in this beautiful diner. The food was great.

I walked in to get something to go, and was told they were closed. I drove from Bat Cave, and will never go there again. The food is not all that good anyways and I'd forgot about the HAIR IN MY FOOD
Pork rinds and homemade pimento cheese still sizzling when they arrive! Just wish Wards were closer. Love this gem.
