I tried to call to see if the Sanford NC location is open on New Year's Day I was stuck on a automated menu that only wanted to take an order. I got ahold of a live person who had to call the Sanford location. When Sanford finally came on the line, the person was VERY RUDE in answering my question. It was very noisy and I couldn't hear her. I was shocked to get service like this on the phone. This location can do a whole lot better

Roaches roaches roaches.... told my friend I'd be going to applebees for dinner here a little while back, and he gave me a warning to not go there. Asked him why, he told me he worked there before. And how ther dishwashing machine was infested with bugs, so much so that the maintenance man wouldn't work on it until they cleared out the electrical box of bugs, and there were hundreds. They'd find little bugs scurrying around the plating area, and they'd just squish it and go about their business. Their salads come in bags, and they do not wash any of it, just open the bag and dump it into a container. I'll never go back, and honestly even when I went before I found all this out, I had some pretty bad experiences. I wasnt going to do anything besides stop giving them my business, but the more I thought about it, the more I felt like people deserve to know what they're in for. Don't know how the health department hasn't shut them down, but I'm sure they probably go out of their way to temporarily get things in order and then let it go back to Hell after the health inspector leaves. Couldn't pay me to order food from there now. At least the servers are halfway nice, but that's probably the only redeeming quality.

I was seated at one of the tables around the bar area. There were no other tables in the area occupied. I waited 8 minutes and nobody came by my table and took my order. I finally left. The restaurant was practically empty. Not a way to keep customers.

Food was cold onion soup not prepared with all ingredients. Called owner and did not get a response. Had to wait additional 15 minutes for food. I will never refer this location
Very outdated, with salty and uninspired food. Plenty of TVs to watch sports and lots of drink specials. The menu is affordable and has options for all. However, the food is uninspired and unapologetically seems like reheated, pre-packaged food. The biggest downside, however, was the completely disheveled and outdated atmosphere. What was once a lively and fresh location is now laden with faded paint and sagging ceilings. This place needs some love.

Brooks order Febuary 8, 2025 at appromately 4:30pm went in made an order for the salmon 2orders do not want broccoli want green beans never told the waiter not to put mashed potato just put green beans instead of broccoli Dah can you not understand I didn't tell you I didn't want mashed potatoes and you never ask so why would you have my order with extra green beans The Salmon comes with Mashed Potatoes unless said without need to listen and not assume Very Not Happy with my order and nether was my Husband

My family got 10 fries per entree, and all of our the food was cold and our burgers were charred. Overall 10/10 don’t recommend, normally I wouldn’t leave a bad review but overall it was a bad experience.
