I came to el rolas to eat in at the restaurant. I ordered a burrito . The burrito was NOT good. You could taste and visiblly see the rice was not fresh. The burrito itself was not good it tasted very old. I did not enjoy my experience with the server I had . She was young short girl out of curiosity I asked for her name she claimed her name is Diana or dania something like that. I did not like her service AT ALL! She did bring chips to the table as well as my drink. everything was going well until she took damn near 30 minutes to come back to me and take my order. When she took my ordered I specified what all I wanted. Once my food got to the table the order was wrong I brought it to her attention but I told her it was fine I'll keep it how it was brought out because I did not want to keep waiting on food any longer.

HOWEVER. When you buy food to go, they will always give you the MINIMAL portion of rice. CONSISTENTLY. Compare portions of rice to other Mexican restaurants. You will see El Rosas cut corners when you buy food from this restaurant.

Finally tried this place by eating in instead of to go. The food was barely ok and worth the price. Service was excellent. My wife enjoyed her menudo but the bistec and naples I had were flavorless and the meat had a texture like it had been stewed for way too long. Probably would not go back with the many other Mexican options in Sanford.

Food is not good. No bueno. I never like to leave a bad review however I have to because if I can help someone spending their hard earned money on bad food well here it is. The chips were past their due date. The food was cold and stale. I really hope my boyfriend who ate all his seafood doesn’t get sick because at this point I am just not sure. The salsa actually was not bad. The beer was good too. Our server was kind. Overall it seems business is probably to slow to move the food quick enough. Good luck!
