Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

An actual restaurant.
The Sanford Golden Corral is an actual restaurant that knows how to cook. Nothing is over/under cooked.

Properly priced. Senior meal is a dollar cheaper than the Fayetteville one AND they included the drink (Fayetteville charges extra).

Vs the Fayetteville Golden Corral that is a church in disguise that frequently under or overcooks things (fudge a sloppy mess, tough livers, burned cheesecake... etc).

Havent been to a Golden Coral in a minute. It was great. Nice clean organized. Kind staff and a great variety of breakfast items. Will always come back.

Unfortunately, this Golden Corral food was awful! I was very disappointed! I’ve eaten at several Golden Corrals and this one is not good!

Bourbon street chicken is delicious but get a little salty if you have more than two forks full, same for the steak. Green beans are good, okra was not crunchy a little soft, almost soggy from steam to keep the buns warm I suppose. The beef stew, pulled pork barbecue, and chicken wings steal the show

Everything was the same food wise with an exception of the buffalo chicken which had an odd chicken taste (almost as if it had spoiled before they cooked it)

I would rate the steak and pulled pork 10/10

The rancid buffalo chicken gets 0/10

As usual the bourbon street chicken and beef stew are loaded with salt and you can’t have more than two bites without being overwhelmed (still it is good)

Love the renovation

Parking: The plates are too high. They need to be a little bit cheaper and they definitely need to honor a military or senior discount with takeout not just eating in.

I went on a Monday evening. The food taste burnt. Mashed potatoes were so bad I gagged. The fried chicken had a burnt taste and the steak was not good at all. My order was to go and we trashed $38.00 worth of food and I got a sub somewhere else.

Waitress was rude and no help at all. Prices was to high for quality and quantity of food. 3 people eating buffet should not be charged 70.00 dollars. We were told they had no ice for the drinks and then told she didn’t know if any was on the server side and didn’t try to help she just walked away. Very rude and we will never go there again 🤬

Every thing is very good except the steaks. Some times they are very tough like shoe leather. But everything g else is very good
