Pelican's Snoballs of Sanford

Great family fun and great snowballs and friendly folks. Can’t wait to be back soon! Had a great time with my lids last June.

Best balls in the world. Owner is super amazing and so sweet. Highly recommended

Hate to say, but this was an awful experience. Paid for 6, but was only handed 5. Received the 6th, but 2 of them were not right. Soon as we left, wife noticed black hair in the snowball, so she didn't eat it.
One and done, not to mention the high price for such a small cup.

Have gone 2 days in a row and they have been closed. I do not see anything online indicating the location is closed.

Younger black girl lacked basic human decency. Borderline rude. I’ve had a snowball at another location and the ice was so fluffy and almost snow like at this location it’s hard. Definitely not impressed.

Love the place but they stop serving after 7:30. So be prepared.

This place is closed. Looks like it got robbed. They need to change their status on google.

The reason for the stars on food and service is because I received neither one.
I was here on Friday 5/24/24 at approximately 3:30 pm. I pulled in to see about 8 people in line (I should have left then)but I got in line which needless to say was moving extremely slow.
Finally the 2 people in front of me placed their order and I was filled with excitement knowing that I was next and after finally deciding what refreshing flavor that I wanted to try.
Suddenly the window slides open and I see the attendant returning money to the customer in front of me. She then turns to me and says the ice machine is down and not working. Oh what a punch in the gut that was for me. It's hard for me to imagine that the attendant had just discovered this and more so because that is the main staple that she needs in which to operate at all.
You see this was my first visit to a Pelicans Snowballs and I was beyond disappointed.

Don't know if I will try again but I can assure you it will not be at this location.
I had better things to do than wait 30 minutes for such a let down that could have been avoided.

I was in the Food Industry for 40 years and I guess this is one of those things that was brought on by the pandemic LOL.
I am so glad that I am not a part of that industry any longer.
Customer Service is basically non existent these days especially when you wait 30 minutes and you cannot even get something as basic as a snow cone, sorry Snowball.

I love their snow cones however, they are never open when they say they are. I have tried to go four times in the last two weeks, two hours after they were supposed to open, and they have been closed every single time.

I'm very angry! They say that they're open but when I arrive no one is there to serve me. If you don't serve people of color make it known. This isn't my first time being disappointed by the company. I knocked on the window multiple times and rung the bell. I waited patiently and still no avail.

Came around 3 just to be told after a 30 min of waiting with 6 others just to be told the machine didn’t work. Called a number the previous owner had gave me called her told me the machines were working drove down there just to see it was closed with a sign saying they close at 9 online saying they close at 8 and a paper on the window saying see you tomorrow at one honestly they need to all get on the same page
