The food selection was good. It was more home style cooking, but some of it lacked seasoning/flavor. The chicken dumplings looked like no effort was made. The broccoli wasn’t impressive, neither was macaroni and cheese. However, the hush puppies were good and the fresh fries.

The shrimp and fried chicken was delicious, I must add. Their desserts tasted well also. Some foods you can tell were dedicated, and some neglected.

My server was ok, we needed refills, to go boxes and straws, so she forgot it all. This place is what it is, for the retirement age.

They do not offer military discount.

Food is very good and the servers are great. Just wish they would change the way they serve your drinks. Some time you are half way through your meal before you get your drink and it looks like they don’t like you asking for it. This happens a lot!!!

My family and friends of my aunt are here for her 70th birthday. The food, service, and atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed ourselves.Just be prepared to pay a 15% tip if you go as a group.

When we got there we had to wait in line 45 minutes to be seated, we had a party of 3. Twice a party of 6 was seated before us. This is how it works, you go to the restaurant, stand in line to be seated, then you have to stand in another line for about a hour. The food might be good, but not worth waiting 2 hours.

Service was great. Everyone was kind. It seemed to be clean. My one thing was where are the greens and cornbread? Especially for a southern restaurant. Fried chicken and green beans were ?

I’d still go back though.

The food is good but the workers can be very rude! You don't really get a welcoming vibe when you enter the building.

This place serves southern style foods, and I like the way the buffet is served in a safe way, there are Servers, instead of each individual handling the serving spoon. It reminds me of Sandpipers or Fuller’s in Fayetteville, NC. I’m partial to the restaurants in Fayetteville, but I like their safety practices better.
