Poor customer service.
I have liked the food, but the service is not good.
Crossing off my list of go to places in Sanford.
Ordered take out and they were out of the item, I was told there was no way for them to contact me concerning my order even though I submit my email and phone number with the order. I was told it would take 5 business days to get a refund.
I haven't gotten the refund, yet...

Tonight I ordered the hickory bourbon pork chop. It took an unusual time to get. I think it was frozen and old. It was really tough and burnt on the bottom. Was kinda miffed when I returned it and the waitress brought me a bowl of broccoli. Paid the bill and left.
From the moment you walk in, there is no clear hostess presence. The layout makes it difficult for staff to see guests entering, so attention to this detail really needs to be a priority. The hostess or manager was leaning at the bar using her phone and did not acknowledge the other guests who came in after us until guests had to call out asking if there was a hostess. If this is the setup, a doorbell or clearer system would help.
Regarding the food, there were only four to five tables total, and about half already had their meals when we arrived. Despite this, it took 45 minutes to prepare two salmon dishes with broccoli and rice. When the food arrived, the salmon was overcooked and very chewy.
The salad bar was also underwhelming compared to other Ruby Tuesday locations we have visited nationwide, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the ladies’ room was out of paper towels, which we had to notify staff about. It could also use a general tidy up, something I hope is noticed during regular checks.

As A Long Time Customer At The Sanford Ruby Tuesday After My Experience Tonight I Was Definitely Not Please With The My Service On Tonight With My Family. I Have Never Known for A Customer To Have To Ask For Steak Sauce After I Recieved My Food ai Was Not Told Upon Ordering Steak That They Did Not Have Any Sauce For Steak. When I Ask The Server For Steak Sauce She Told Me That Tgey Didn't Have Any AFTER I HAD ALREADY OREDERED MY FOOD I ASK HER WHY SHE DIDNT TWLL ME TGEY DIDNT HAVE STEAK SAUCE SHE SAID YOU DIDNT ASK. WHICH WAS VERY RUDE. I have never gone to a restaurant and had to ask for Steak Sauce before ordering Steak. My waitress was very rude and I asked tge manager about it and he told me the same this I disagree with it but tgey will not have to worry about me ir my family returning to eat.

No one to seat customers. Sign on door said 45min to get seated. No waitstaff in sight. Why was the restaurant open on Christmas night if they could not help customers? If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Do not eat here. This was one of the worst dining experiences I ever had. I completely understand being understaffed, and I feel bad for the waitress, but this was awful. There was only one waitress dealing with the whole restaurant. It took nearly 30 minutes (yes 30) to get drinks! The food we ordered took over an hour to come out (1 h, 16 min to be exact) and was inedible. For reference, I ordered my steak medium rare. It came out as a hockey puck. The burger someone in my party ordered also was completely overcooked and inedible. Another steak someone ordered came out with broccoli, which was not even ordered, and was even more overcooked than mine. ALL dishes that came out were barely even room temperature. Clearly, the steaks were sitting out for forever. Mind you, these steaks were over $20.
Multiple people were walking out the entire time, should’ve left when we had the chance. What’s inexcusable was the manager, who did not care about our concerns at all and was also clearly under the influence of *something*. I feel AWFUL for the waitresses here who have to deal with entire sections all by themselves. Ownership needs to get their act together.
