The scoops hotdogs are by far the absolute best hotdogs you will ever eat. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best hotdogs ever , I give the Scoops hotdogs a 12 .

I cannot even explain how much I love this place. The BEST HOT DOG I bet most people have ever had. Scoops was popular when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s. They have not changed. If you haven't had 1 I strongly recommend you get 2. No joke!!

Stopped by for the first time in 15 yrs. I knew ownership had changed years back but was surprised how the quality really went downhill. The hot dogs & chili were just rather bland overall. I should have stopped by Big-T's just a block away.

Quick and friendly service. Great hot dogs and sausage dogs. I prefer the sausage dogs all the way with relish. Cans are crisp with lots of carbonation. Once you hit the window you'll be there for maybe 3 minutes and you're out. This place is the only reason why I carry cash now.
Parking: Parking is basically just the surrounding buildings.

Scoops is handsdown, the best place to get a true Carolina hot dog. Fully loaded hot dog is the only way to go. It is CASH ONLY, and the prices did rise to the point I can't get as many as I would like, but still worth it to me.Definitely the place to go for a true hot dog.There is no spot to sit down, it is a drive through but it makes it perfect to grab some food before heading to the parks nearby.

Great little hot dog shack. Great prices and quick service. Good temp of the dog and they were solid. I have a special place in my heart for these little joints selling red dogs. There's just not enough of them.
