If I could leave a zero I would. Ordered a tender tailgate and received twice or maybe 3 times fried chicken tenders dryer than my ancestors ashes. Called and spoke with dear Abigail she swore they had fresh coming up they would replace the chicken. Second round of chicken just as dry and as hard as the first batch. My dogs dehydrated chicken treats aren't as dry as this stuff. Total waste of money and I know the chicken should never be like this. Will not even consiously feed this to one of the pregnant guests in my home at the moment. I rarely leave bad reviews and would rather deal with it in person but there is no fixing the laziness of the night crew!

To the manager on night duty should be ashamed my father in law waited in line for more than 30 minutes for refried chicken tenders. If I wanted to choke on my dinner I would gone to popeyes to get a biscuit but smithfields chicken got them beat for dryness. Dryer than a nuns you know what.

Smithfield's has some awesome fried chicken. The barbecue sandwich was good but it overtook the bun and I ended up eating it with my hands. (Get plenty of napkins. )

Friendly. Purchased a takeout order January 2025. The car ride home had an unpleasant cooking oil type smell. Normally fries are supposed to smell great and you eat them on the way home but the Smithfield Chicken fries had that unpleasant old cooking oil like smell. The chicken was not that great. It Had like a greasy oil taste to it. The fries we ended up throwing out. The fries were again greasy and tasted unpleasant like the chicken. The hush puppies were ok and banana pudding was satisfying.

I asked them what happened. They simply apologized and gave no answer. So I looked on the county site.

They failed for not cleaning dishes and improper storage of bbq.

The food was good, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was excellent. I felt at home. I was not rushed, and the staff checked on me periodically. This restaurant will be one of my favorite go to's.

The food was hot and good and the service was wonderful. Not only did they bring us our food but they cleared away our plates for us. Great place for a quick bite.
