Teriyaki Express in Sanford is a fantastic spot for a delicious meal. The environment is cozy and inviting with warm lighting making it perfect for a good lunch or dinner. The staff is very welcoming and friendly making the overall experience enjoyable. Additionally, the food is amazing and is made quickly and precise.Teriyaki Express is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and craving some tasty Japanese food.

I called in an order last night (ticket #66). I went through the drive thru to pickup, love that they have this option super convenient. Unfortunately, I won’t be eating here again. The food was either bad or poorly prepared. I ordered 2 dinner specials (one steak and salmon combo + one chicken plate no mushrooms). The chicken plate was missing broccoli. We got home, ate, and everything was fine or so I thought. About 40 mins after eating I experienced horrible stomach cramps. It was followed by extreme diarrhea and vomiting. After a few hours I was able to get it under control with medication. My son at the chicken plate. I found out this morning when attempting to use his bathroom that he had the same exact experience. We know it was the food. My son is rarely ever sick. Now. I will put this disclaimer that I have eaten here once before and didn’t have issues like this…but I can’t take a risk like that again. Won’t be back!

This place is super underrated. Their hibachi fish is the greatest meal in our town. The flavor is incredible. Super recommend them. Owners are genuine and good people. Enjoy every time I go in there!

Yikes! They have gone downhill. Portions are very small and for vegetables I received mushrooms and carrots. For the price I will not return.

The entire staff is probably from Mexico, which is fine, but their take on Japanese food is a bit of a mess.Nothing tasted like authentic Chinese or Japanese food.The chicken was overcooked and dry.

This place is beyond great sanford don'ty deserve you lol!!! But all seriousness this place is great, the food is amazing. The quality is on point I have ordered from here over 30 times every time it's perfectly made. The salmon is always cooked perfect, only thing I wish they has was a dessert for us who love our sweets. I highly recommend this place and everything is clean too from the store to plating your food.
