Food was hot and fresh, I had a single patty with cheese, pickles and ketchup, mustard! The 2 patties would have been 12.99 but being a single they call it a kid serving so it was 6.99 😁 I know!!!!! The fries were HOT and a garlic salt seasoning ( yum). My Mom had a single patty Hulk pepper jack cheese, jalapeno,red onion, bacon(4) slices light mayo, lettuce and tomato, just like mine it was considered a kid serving 🤷 so both meals were $14.99 Amazing!!!!!!! The inside was your basic table and chairs no grills but I am fine with it because it's put into the food, there is a small outside area to eat at! So when you are hungry and want a burger and happen to be on Brightleaf stop in and support a little Business that's WAY better than the chain restaurants and can be easier on the wallet at a single patty burger 😁 double patty of course the price increases!

Had a tasty lunch at Barley & Burger Smashed in Smithfield. Everything cooked to order. Generous portions. Great customer service with a smile. The Marty McFly Burger & Burger Bowl were tasty! Especially loved the sweet potato fries! The 80’s/90’s theme is fun! We’ll be back!

I've been to the physical location to eat twice, and both times i was there i got the ghostbuster! It's great, I like my food really spicy when I order something spicy, and it wasn't QUITE as hot as I'd like it, but I can tell for a normal person that's a perfect amount of spice.
I also order here on Doordash to bring it to my work, and because I'm on a budget, I order the kids burger and fries for vheaper and just add on some extra toppings, and it's plenty of food as well (that is the picture below).
I definitely recommend trying it out. The burgers are comfy without being too greasy, the fries are always hot and well seasoned, and the staff are nice whenever you go to the physical location!
(by the way, if you do go, don't try to go through the drive-thru unless you're getting a pickup order. They make the burgers made-to-order, you'd do just as well dining in)
