Highlander’s Grill & Tavern

Service was excellent even though they were short on wait staff.
Local bar feel with semi boisterous regulars. (thus the three star rating)It was fine for us but not exactly family oriented.
Worth a visit if you don't mind that small local bar feel.

Decent food. Ordered some chicken burgers and wraps. Decent service as we had to wait for minor things like cutlery. Restrooms were just barely operational

I must say that I stumbled upon this place and was very pleased with my decision to to stop. The food and service was great. Had the cooked to order burger and wings. Will definitely be a repeat offender...LOL

The service was wonderful and friendly, however, the quality of the food was absolutely terrible. The fries had the taste of freezer burn, and the chicken sandwich I ordered was undercooked, and I lost my appetite to continue lunch. This is the second time we have come here and each time it is unsatisfactory. I thought I’d give it another chance, but now I am sure to never return.

Very rude staff, was told to seat myself and then my family and i were ignored while they waited on everyone around us. The woman waiting tables was very standoffish the moment we went around the corner to sit and the male just flat out acted like we weren't there. Another table even asked if someone had been over yet and stated that they would have walked out by that point. Very disappointed in the service. Didn't even get to order drinks.

Service was good the food was horrible. Fries were stale and fish had hard coating on it. Will not be back.

The waitresses were pretty nice and we're always makeing sure we were good on drinks and food a little to much tho but the food was shit we got the 8 ounce ribeye and they weren't 8 ounces and they were paper thin we could have gotten thin pork chops thicker we got them two medium and to medium rare they all were super rare the potatoes looked and tasted like bad baby food.

Food was very good but our waitress was by far the worst we have ever experienced. We were told when we walked in that they were short staffed, but you can NOT be rude with customers for NO reason. She acted mad, didn't smile, was short and irritated. She's lucky we tipped because that's just how we are but she definitely didn't deserve a penny. The smash burger is delicious!

We have eaten here 4 or 5 times. I really like the 1/2 lb hamburgers. The Carolina and the Mushroom Swiss burgers. They are cooked to internal temp order. I also like the house potato chips and tater tots. My wife LOVES the Chicken and waffles. Awesome spicy syrup and nice pieces of chicken.
There is a bar area with bar seating along with some tables that is noisy. But there is a separate dining area with tables and booths that is quieter and more kid friendly. There is also covered outdoor seating for smokers.

Everything was great and most of all I felt welcomed and it was definitely a vibe and didn’t feel rushed,Dakota my waiter was funny and a vibe also. Wonderful place!
