Been here a few times so went again last night. My wife likes the pimento cheese. I ordered Chilli. It tasted ok but looked like frozen or canned. My stomach didn't agree with the Chilli for 24 hours. We will not be back. I paid $7.25 for this small bowl. Pricey.

I have been trying to go here since April 2023. Thursday night, January 11th, my son and I went. He had the prime rib and I had the hamburger steak. Plus Jeremy Robinson doing a little live music. Awesome place. I'm a regular now!!!!
This place is a nice place for lunch. They have a large variety of classic salads and sandwiches and is a good place for a quick business meeting because it's homely and not too loud. The service is also decently fast, usually you get your food within 10-15 minutes. I especially like their coaches choice for soup, the variety is always great.

I've been here a few times and have always had great food and service. Had the hamburger steak tonight and it was amazing! Servers work together and drinks stay full, food is fantastic and it's a cute clean little place. Definitely worth the trip, I try to come once a month!

Sorry about any spelling and grammar mistakes... I'm slipping into food comatose after that amazing half pound burger. The family that brought me here says they've been coming to the Lake House for over 25yrs and tonight I saw why.Let's just say, I taste tested everyone else's meals so I feel my review is similar to posting after three visits.Crinkle cut or hand cut? They are both yummy. I'd say it depends on your mood for which to choose. I don't remember seeing chili specifically on the menu, but after two bites of that Cowboy burger, I decided next time, I'm ordering chili! Or maybe it will be the philly spring rolls or the fish fry... idk yet. My burger was great. Juicy and flavorful.Service was the perfect amount of attention and perfectly timed. The dining room was clean. Other customers were pleasant during any interaction we had

My husband, son, and I were just there and sat for a little over 30 minutes and weren't served. At first I was being understanding because it seemed they were setting up for a live show. However, several groups that came in after us were served. We made eye contact with the servers we saw, and one even said hello as she walked past us. We looked around and were the only ones without drinks and/or food. The last straw was when a group sat next to us and not a minute later the waitress served them. Even our 8 year old said it was time to go. I have no idea why we were ignored, and I ran out of excuses for it after that. I gave 3 stars because we've been there during lunch without a problem.
