“very warm and welcoming.....they treat you like family the food is amazing....the whole place takes you back in time to your younger years...not many places that has that warm hospitality that they have ....and not many places that can remind you of your child hood like they can along with their food....I pass by maes everyday and I can smell what they are cooking and I always want to pull over just to go in and get a taste....this morning...a cloudy/rainy day....the smell of breakfast won me over ...I couldn't stand it...so I had to pull over just to get a bite...more than a bite lol....I wanted to taste home again....and sure enough I wasn't disappointed....ty ladies!!! I love each and everyone of you....you deserve 5 stars all around and I will be a repeated customer...with much love.....your neighbor”

“My wife and I were driving to Oriental, NC and stopped for lunch ...our first time here. What a wonderful surprise. Our lunch was so tasty . We will be back. Do yourself a favor and have a real Mexican meal here.”

“Today on march5,2025 Wednesday me and my son Ricky and his friend Shawn had went there and we went inside and had ordered some food and the waitress that waited on us was very nice and friendly and she was very polite and kind and served us with fast food service and was coming back to our table to see if there was anything else that we needed and she done it all with a smile on her face and she was very professional in her job and she had a great attitude towards her customers that she waited on and yes I would recommend this restaurant to anybody because the food is really good and the waitress are very friendly and very nice and they treat u with respect and I have always enjoyed going to Ken’s grill and I will be going back again and again”

“Why are more people not talking about this place? The most under rated restaurant in Goldsboro. My husband and I went for the first time last night to celebrate NYE and our first anniversary. I cannot recommend enough. The food was so fresh and amazing. The restaurant was very clean and our waitress was the sweetest. This is a must try!”

“no gloves and they lady proudly said you won't find no gloves her ..after Watching the lady that was preparing the cheeseburger. Scratch her neck twice and touch the cooler doorhandle and then proceeded to go back to making our burgers. The other lady proceeded to stick her hands in my face and tell me to smell her hands. Her attitude about the no gloves was nastier than the lady that was fixing the burgers.. she told me that i could be assured that they were clean.🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 Needless to. Say I did not touch anything on the plate!! She told me gloves were nasty.! I understand switching gloves in and out or a pain.In the Assi know I have worked in the food industry.But you do not touch anything and then go back into the bun bag and put a burger on a prepared bun!! And then give it to your customer to eat🤢🤢🤮who knows what else she scratched that I didn't see while she went out of my sight!!”

They feed you, have ppl coming around offering drinks and snacks, always someone in there at all times winning big, great game selections, and when you cash out by the time you get out your seat, they have your money ready to give to you. “The meals are made to order so there is a short wait, but it is worth it. I ordered camaron fajitas. My dish was prepared and presented well. The shrimp was plentiful, plump and seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered chicken tacos. After adding cheese to the tacos, he really enjoyed his food.
The hostess was also our server. She was very friendly. She even let me try the Jamaica before I ordered it.
I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious authentic Mexican food.”
