“My son and I decided to try someplace new on Saturday. Great decision! His brisket sandwich was juicy and bursting with flavor, the onion rings properly cooked. My steak bowl was delicious, the grilled veggies cooked and firm. We sampled the horchata and added that to our order. Service was prompt, our waiter very gracious and knowledgeable.”

“My favorite place to eat. Im a regular here and always have freah food and staff always friendly. It get suoer busy on the weekends but your are never rushed to eat. The foos is good and price not bad. The bugget is limited due to the space. But you can always orser from there menu which is abundent. Wjat else can i say good food, service and decent pricing.”

“Tucked away in the middle of nowhere this small town family friendly restaurant gives you all the feels of country farmhouse eating. Folks who dine here will immediately get a true feeling of warm light and friendly atmosphere. It's has all the seasons Fall feels and then some. The service was great. Very homey and cozy. Being there instantly feels like you finally made it back home to mama's. Food is excellent and severed up hot and speedy. If you haven't checked out this little slice of heaven yet you should make sure to do so real soon. You will not regret it.”

“don't let the unassuming storefront dissuade you; everything was delicious! tried the pupusas, pollo de cilantro, and the carne asada salvadorian style - all incredible! homemade, fresh, and wonderful. just like i was eating at a friend's table in el salvador!”

“A lot of these recent reviews are pretty far from the truth, I came in and got two meals for $20 they gave pretty good sized portions for what I payed for, and from someone who is comes from an area well known for high quality food, especially asian food, this was actually really good. This isn’t like what everyone else says in their reviews. There was also was a woman back there working extremely hard and when she handed me my food she was really nice, I also really love how this business is also family oriented! Y’all need TO DO BETTER when supporting local businesses especially in a small town.”

“This Subway is very well run, there's always enough help to get your order quickly, and best of all you can order ahead on the app! The deals of the day are unbeatable for a lunch or a dinner. The fixings are always fresh. There are a variety of soft drinks or teas to choose between. This Subway is conveniently located, inside a convenience store at the intersection. They have parking around the back of the building and a dedicated entrance there as well. There is a small seating area with about five tables. As I mentioned, it is inside a convenience store so it can get a little busy with people coming in and out to access the store, and the order area is very small so it can get congested with the through traffic and the lottery scratch-off station nearby. If you're doing takeout, this Subway is amazing! If you want to eat inside, it's not the most quiet atmosphere, but the dining area is clean and accessible.”

“I am about 6 hours into a drive going home from leave (I don’t get much time off from the military to see my parent). I decided to stop and stretch, and mom pointed out the bk mentioning how she loved the French toast sticks. “Tasha” was very polite at the counter and after hearing our meal let us know of a meal to save some money and get the same. Small thing but kind gesture. The place was also very clean and did not feel like a prison (something fast foods have felt like recently sitting down for me). The food was nothing exceptional but it was fresh and very good. This was the last meal with my mother for awhile, and I am thankful it was a good experience.”

“Southern Ground is an amazing business! I spilled my drink in my car, came back to pay for a new one, and they gave me the drink for free. It made me tear up and definitely made my day, for sure!! Thank you guys so much for what you do. As a UMO student myself, I will be choosing Southern Ground over Starbucks any day when I need a pick-me-up for school. Once again, you guys are FANTASTIC!
