“Definitely a true Mexican restaurant so everything is in Mexican, not English. It’s connected to a grocery store. We both ordered shredded chicken burritos which were one of the best we’ve had and it was pretty large. Excellent.”

“Not to sure why it says this place is closed on here but it is definitely opened. My husband got the pork burrito & I got the steak burrito. The flavors were so amazing, packed with tons of ingredients to the point it was falling out the burrito! So delicious, can't wait to come back to try the tacos next time.”

“First trip tried the pizza and it was great. Second trip, cheeseburger and fries. I threw it in the trash after eating what I could stand. Premade Patty that was squishy and tasted funny. Never seen battered fries that were completely soggy until then. For what a burger and fries cost, I expect real meat and crispy fries. Was gonna go back for pizza but the oven was broke. Service has always been wonderful. Gonna stick with the pizza though. Hopefully they'll improve. Nice little place.”

“Ordered General Tso’s chicken w/ white rice, vegetable fried rice, vegetable delight, egg rolls, steamed dumplings, and crab rangoon. It was all delicious! They were polite and friendly at the front counter and there was a reasonable wait time after food was ordered for it to be prepared. Food was reasonably priced for Chinese food. Overall it was a great experience and will be returning!”

“6-17-23Small Mexican food mart that also twins as a restaurant. Has two interior tables for dining in. Interior is well maintained.Came for the tacos. They have typical meat choices topped with onions and cilantro. Corn tortillas. I sampled carnitas, pastor, and birria. My favorite is the pastor, but all are a reorder. All tacos come with lime slices and green and red salsa should you need that.Also tried their horchata, and this was among the best I can remember having. Do you like horchata? You will love it here.Staff were friendly, food came out quick, and we left fat and happy.Parking: Gravel lot. Plenty.”

“Not many pork-free options. But, at a nice cozy country buffet, it's to be expected. The fried fish and hush puppies are very good, and so is that iced tea!!! Great friendly staff that provide great service every time! The dine-in buffet pricing is quite reasonable.”

“The salad bar is good. I get the potatoe salad, quinoa salad, olive, beets and cucumber.The full rotisserie chicken is delicious and so is the lamb. I enjoy the fried chicken too. The sweet tea has cinnamon, it's good. The sweet potato cheese cake is good. Yucca & sweet potato fries are great sides.The service has declined the last 2 times I've gone. “Tried for first time. After hearing many positive reviews claiming best barbecue ever we finally checked it out. Food was very good but not best barbecue ever . Staff were all very pleasant and eager to please. Tea was excellent. Seating is limited.”

“Deuces is a great place to come out and have a good time. This building has been around for years and has gone through a couple owners. The crowd is very dependent on the time of day. But everyone is very friendly. Glen doesn't not allow drama and invites everyone. Two dartboards and a 7' coin op pool table. Bar seating and patio seating with heat in the winter.Pay attention to their Facebook page as they often have local and regional bands. Another great location as it is another common starting point for benefit rides.Come on out enjoy a cold one, and meet new people.Parking: Gravel parking. Also our flow parking in the grassy area. Decent markings to ensure you know where to go.”

“Ready when they said, very nice staff, delicious barbecue. Conveniently located as we passed through on our travels! Only thing we could have used a footnote for was 'gravy.' May need to remind some what that means in Eastern North Carolina! ??? We weren't sure if it was chicken gravy or the awesome vinegar hot sauce. Being offered chicken gravy on barbecue didn't compute so we just declined. (But some of the vinegar hot sauce on the side would have been awesome!)”

“Run, don't walk! This is the most charming lunch spot, in the middle of no where with perfectly fried food what more could you ask for!? Oh yeah their incredible small town service! The hush puppies are worth the trip alone but my favorite was the fried okra. My husband had trout and fried shrimp, my daughter had a hamburger and loved it. But let's be honest I had the best of all fried flounder, fried shrimp, and that okra!!! Shew already planning another trip out there! You will leave happy, happy, happy!”

“Man 8 dollars for a burrito of this size and quality is crazy. Honestly one of the best burrito places I’ve eaten at, cheap too. Wouldn’t be surprised if the owner raised it a bit. And even if he did it would still be worth it honestly.”

“An absolutely great stop if you are craving seafood. My grandson and I enjoy it every time we go. Always fresh and honestly one of the best baked potatoes around. Everything is pretty much fried with the same seasoning and that is why I didn't give it a 5 star for the food. Service is great and the sides are excellent and seasoned well. If you like challenge foods the oyster bar connected to the building has a hot oyster challenge called "The Rooster," I personally have 3 shirts for completing the challenge. You can order it in the Sandpiper and they will bring it to you. No need to go to the bar to make bad decisions.”

“Some of the best Mexican food in Lenoir and surrounding counties. It's not much to look at, but man the food is great.If you're like I am about Mexican cuisine you know that normally the harder it is to spot or off the beating path the better it is.I really can't just give you one thing to try. Go multiple times and try them all. Not much to look at and the service is ok, but these are truly Hispanic women so as an American it's hard to have conversations and request certain items. The atmosphere is just a diner. Not a place to go for entertainment, but like I said. The food is great!Parking: Right off of the highway with enough parking for the size of the restaurant.”
