Wilber’s Barbecue is the best barbecue I have ever had. I ate Theo pulled pork, honey mustard wings, and vegetables, and everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely eat here again.
If you want a classic look without the fake modern renovations and great fresh chicken and BBQ then check it out. The service from the waitress to the hostess was on par with Chick filet. The hostess was told by our waiter it was our first time at wilbers. The hostess came back over after we ordered and offered a tour of the "pit" where the magic happens. Ready when they said, very nice staff, delicious barbecue. Conveniently located as we passed through on our travels! Only thing we could have used a footnote for was 'gravy.' May need to remind some what that means in Eastern North Carolina! ??? We weren't sure if it was chicken gravy or the awesome vinegar hot sauce. Being offered chicken gravy on barbecue didn't compute so we just declined. (But some of the vinegar hot sauce on the side would have been awesome!)
