A charming, funky, little out of the way Puerto Rican eatery. There were 4 of us and we live locally, but hadn’t really even seen this restaurant because it is tucked away. Atmosphere is a friendly bar/restaurant with a mostly Puerto Rican variety of food. Kitty, our waitress, bartender, etc was a perfect blend of efficiency, good service and humorous waitress. We started with the empanada appetizer plus one as there were 4 of us. Huge portions, so we could have gone with just the order. I had the pork which was fantastic. I have a medical condition that doesn’t tolerate hot spice, but I want flavor. I also had the pork shoulder and the flan. All were delicious. Pollo Asado was also very good. It isn’t fancy, but a fun, delicious, different restaurant with a great waitress.

The order was take out
When I got home there were no onions in my ribeye steak, it was very dry compared what was advertisement
Pork shoulder was salty and the rice was also hard, and has grains. Also they forgot my tres Leche cake I had to go back and get it
Service of the three waitress, the younger lady was the sweetest, the other two need to work on there customer service they walked past me and ignored me and had me sitting there waiting
Also, to be Puerto Rican from up north, this food was not impressive

Went to support new ownership event.... supposed to be a dj, samples etc and there was nothing

The waitress was very nice... I think I was the most puerto rican thing there other then the decor that was over compensating for lack of flavor

Tried empanadas (most basic puertorican thing you can make) and they were just salty and tasteless... served with a sauce that traditionally would of been mayoketchup but was just mayo and hot sauce 🤣

I really wanted to believe someone finally opened a authentic boricua spot IN THE 910 , but THIS ISNT IT!

This is the best puerto rican restaurant I've dined at on the mainland! The pernil and arroz con gandules reminded me of my mom's cooking. The cuban sandwich was huge...we definitely had leftovers. Great friendly service as well...we will be back!

Food was just ok. Not unique or special in any way. A little advice for this place...you may want to encourage your staff to welcome customers with a simple and genuine smile. It can be a powerful tool for creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

Excellent! Empanada Trio to start, followed with a Cuban with tostones on the side. We had a party of 14, no problem , cheerful staff made our visit incredible. Delicious, you must try!

Family owned, friendly. We felt like they cooked for us like they would their own family. We had the cuban sandwich and empanadas. They were out of this world, amazing! Support this local, family-owned restaurant!
