Excellent! Empanada Trio to start, followed with a Cuban with tostones on the side. We had a party of 14, no problem , cheerful staff made our visit incredible. Delicious, you must try!

Family owned, friendly. We felt like they cooked for us like they would their own family. We had the cuban sandwich and empanadas. They were out of this world, amazing! Support this local, family-owned restaurant!

Where do I even begin food was absolutely amazing. Loved that the owner Coach came over and chatted with us made us feel at home. It’s a cozy environment with absolutely delicious food.

What a surprise to find this amazing PR restaurant outside of Wilmington NC. Highly recommend. Fun little bar and excellent food. Will be back.

Too small to be called a restaurant it’s more of a bar. The food ratio to price is small. My husband had chicken with rice and beans, you could count the beans on a teaspoon. I didn’t know that all the beans had olives in it. So I paid $18 for 4 wings since I couldn’t eat the dry rice. They could have taken that into consideration but instead I was charged for the beans and rice that came with the meal separately.🥹I caught the error and it was removed from the bill. We left $70 including tip and that will never happen again.
On the way out to make matters worse, we noticed a friggin “ TRUMP” flag flying in the breeze.👹 Wish I had seen that first, wouldn’t wanted my time going in.😠

Quaint and friendly spot. Only bottled domestic beer. Nothing on tap. No craft beers. Back patio area and small dining room indoors. Had a good time. Bartender great.

Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian options.
Rice, beans and plantains are always staples.

Parking: I will try them again. I believe they will get better. Plus it is a fun place to go.

Kid-friendliness: Very friendly

Finally made it. Came in around 3pm “Coach” greeted us and seated us. Nice room small but outside area is an option. We tried appetizers and Beans and rice with four seasoned full wings empanadas chix, pork and beef and Cuban sandwich sliders. Food was very fresh tasting and wonderfully seasoned. Open late as not much around in the area is worth going to after 9.

Pleasant staff and management.
The overpriced sandwiches were mediocre. For the money, we expected more meat, and homemade BBQ sauce. Maybe it was but tasted bottled. We were surprised to see the sandwiches were served alone on the sheet. No side dish. We have never seen this; this does not present well. Online customer photos show otherwise.
We ordered a potato ball appetizer to be served first. After 15 minutes the pleasant waitress said 'it takes long, it'll be out soon'. About 10 minutes later, the food came. No ball. It arrived at least 5 minutes later. It was good.
Their management team, who were friendly, did ask how did everythihg go? We didn't complain as all restaurants are different, and we give them a chance. It wasn't until we were home that we saw online that there should have been a side and free drink for the price we paid. We also saw that you can order a half sandwich but this was not on the menu in the restaurant. Maybe it's just available if you order online-? The sandwich size was long but not full. Again, for the price. I also noticed varying prices online. I think there's still an old menu posted.
The atmosphere had charm, and the place was clean. The music was a bit too loud ~ we moved away from speakers as did another couple.
$47.74, was a pricey lunch for what we received.
2 sandwiches (no side) / one potato ball / one water / one diet soda
