Wonderful experience! We had lunch there and everything was flavorful and perfectly prepared. We also tried the empanadas, and they were absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, and the staff was very kind and super friendly. The restroom was super clean, smelled great, and was very well equipped.
The place has a great atmosphere. There is a fish tank that adds a nice touch, and the music was at a low volume, making it very pleasant to enjoy our meal. We loved it and will definitely come back!

The food was absolutely amazing. I got 3 empenadas: pork, chicken, and beef. I'll be stopping in again. I met the new owner Picasso. What a solid dude with an amazing personality. We talked Puerto Rico, the area, my sobriety, and Jesus. I'll be making the trip from Longs again just to bring my wife here. I can't tell you what a delightful experience it was to not only have THE BEST empenadas I've ever had, but to also meet a really friendly guy who loves Jesus. I highly recommend this little spot 10/10 would recommend to everyone who wants authentic Puerto Rican food and authentic conversation with a really awesome guy.

We stopped in here on a whim during our road trip and we are SO HAPPY we did! Everything we ate was phenomenal (pork chop, wings, beans, plantains) the margaritas were amazing and best of all, Carmen was so much fun! Just do it, you won’t be disappointed!

Delicious and authentic Puerto Rican food! We especially enjoyed the empanadas, yellow rice and beans, tostones, maduros, pernil and pork chop. Very accommodating service...and they expect to have coquito soon, for the holidays!

Wasn't very busy, surprisingly since the food was amazing!!! Order beef empanadas and yellow rice. Tried the Cuban sliders and the sweet fried plantains 🤤🤤 everything came out hot and delicious! I haven't had authentic Puerto Rican food in sooo long. I could have cried over the rice itself lol tasted like nostalgia. Literally drove 2 hours to try it and was most definitely worth the trip!

A charming, funky, little out of the way Puerto Rican eatery. There were 4 of us and we live locally, but hadn’t really even seen this restaurant because it is tucked away. Atmosphere is a friendly bar/restaurant with a mostly Puerto Rican variety of food. Kitty, our waitress, bartender, etc was a perfect blend of efficiency, good service and humorous waitress. We started with the empanada appetizer plus one as there were 4 of us. Huge portions, so we could have gone with just the order. I had the pork which was fantastic. I have a medical condition that doesn’t tolerate hot spice, but I want flavor. I also had the pork shoulder and the flan. All were delicious. Pollo Asado was also very good. It isn’t fancy, but a fun, delicious, different restaurant with a great waitress.

The order was take out
When I got home there were no onions in my ribeye steak, it was very dry compared what was advertisement
Pork shoulder was salty and the rice was also hard, and has grains. Also they forgot my tres Leche cake I had to go back and get it
Service of the three waitress, the younger lady was the sweetest, the other two need to work on there customer service they walked past me and ignored me and had me sitting there waiting
Also, to be Puerto Rican from up north, this food was not impressive

The food is really good, space is small. A little expensive.
Recommended dishes: Empanada Trio, Pollo Asado
Went to support new ownership event.... supposed to be a dj, samples etc and there was nothing
The waitress was very nice... I think I was the most puerto rican thing there other then the decor that was over compensating for lack of flavor
Tried empanadas (most basic puertorican thing you can make) and they were just salty and tasteless... served with a sauce that traditionally would of been mayoketchup but was just mayo and hot sauce 🤣
I really wanted to believe someone finally opened a authentic boricua spot IN THE 910 , but THIS ISNT IT!

This is the best puerto rican restaurant I've dined at on the mainland! The pernil and arroz con gandules reminded me of my mom's cooking. The cuban sandwich was huge...we definitely had leftovers. Great friendly service as well...we will be back!

Food was just ok. Not unique or special in any way. A little advice for this place...you may want to encourage your staff to welcome customers with a simple and genuine smile. It can be a powerful tool for creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
