Last year, 2023, the food was really good, except for the prime rib.. it was so tough, it could not be chewed... anyway, in all the times I have eaten there, last Friday, January 3, 2025, will be my last! I ordered the Pan Flounder.. it arrived, yellow with lemon pepper, that I didn't order, and could not taste the fish, as it was SO much lemon pepper, returned it asking for a plain fried Pan Flounder, I got it without any cornmeal breading at all AND it was a spoiled fish! OMG... sent it back, was kindly removed from my bill.. What happened to the quality fried fish? my husband ordered a flounder platter, with the flounder strips, cold, tough like wood.. Really, Jerome's? What has happened to your kitchen?

Went to Jerome's tonite and got the ribeye steak and shrimp,shrimp was good,but the steak was not good no flavor or taste,the last two times I have been and got the steak it just was not good at all,I don't know what has happened to their steaks they use to be very good but they have no flavor at all now,don't know if they have stopped marinating them are what, but they really need to look into this,I will not order another one.Has anyone else noticed their steaks are like this? Other food items are great including the salad bar,but they really need to work on their steaks to get the flavor back.

The overall quality of the food is declining from what it used to be. None of my group could finish the food. However, the service was amazing! She was on our every need and had an awesome personality! She made it easier to forget the let down from the food.

Starting off positive- our waitress Melissa was amazing, she was the absolute best and she needs a raise. She didn’t let our drinks go empty the entire time we were there and she was super sweet with my kids. My husband got the seafood gumbo as an appetizer and he said all it is is Campbells chunky canned soup with some shrimp mixed in. The rest of the food was really good, no problems there. My main problem was how nasty the women’s bathroom is. I seen alive cockroaches in there and up in the light fixture is a monster roach that’s dead. Y’all can clean that, come on. It’s been there for a while, you can tell. And it’s gross. I want to come back and try the buffet, and I really hope the bathroom is clean the second time around or we won’t be back.
