Starting off positive- our waitress Melissa was amazing, she was the absolute best and she needs a raise. She didn’t let our drinks go empty the entire time we were there and she was super sweet with my kids. My husband got the seafood gumbo as an appetizer and he said all it is is Campbells chunky canned soup with some shrimp mixed in. The rest of the food was really good, no problems there. Jerome’s is absolutely the best restaurant in Shallotte. Been eating his food since back in the 90’s when he owned the seafood barn at Holden Beach.

The food was amazing! And more than worth the money you spend. We were looking for a steakhouse and were nervous to try Jerome's but seeing the reviews we gave it a chance. I'm so glad we did! Best steakhouse I've been to in a long time. Service was great too!!! We will definitely be back. Not overpriced like a lot of places.
