Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

Great place to eat. Clean, great food, big portions, and friendly staff. I wish I had one in my area. On a recent trip to the Outer Banks, we ate here going down and coming back home. We ate at highly recommended very expensive restaurants while there, but Smithfield's was a better meal.

So many wonderful things to say about both the food and the service. Everyone was incredibly friendly. I also appreciated not being asked to tip while I ordered my food at the counter. That is a pet peeve of mine and it stood out to me. We will be back and we have let all of our local friends know just how much we love this place. Whenever we have visitors, this is a favorite place to take them.

We Rate a 8 out of 10. 10 being the best. Good fried chicken but all the salt makes it hard to give a better rating.

We get family carry-out from here on our annual beach vacation. Carolina barbecue, baked beans, hush puppies, and coleslaw are staples for a memorable feast.

We've tried the Smithfield's in Laurinburg and enjoyed it, so we had an idea of what to expect when we decided to come here. My previous experience was just with my wife and sons but this time we were returning home from a middle school retreat with 42 students and a number of chaperones. It was a Sunday evening and the staff on duty was exceptional. They treated every student with dignity and a smile. They were courteous and accommodating, despite our students being very tired. We really appreciated their hospitality. My hat is off to this group!

I stuck with the Large BBQ Pulled Pork Plate and a sweet tea. Everything was very good. I initially used the vinegar sauce that was on the table but a good friend filled me in on a little secret which is their red sauce. The red sauce is a home run and will be my go to at SCNB!

Each time I've ordered from this restaurant the order was incorrect. I placed an order on door dash August 24th for about 60.00. They sent the wrong plates with sides we didn't order.the only thing that came to us correct was the banana pudding a dozen hushpuppies and my drink. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.3 different times going here and all 3 times the order was wrong.does the staff evem read the orders being placed.i do t like their potato salad or Cole slaw so I dint order them.i ordered beans and fries but got salad and slaw.their staff needs to go back to school and taught how to read.

Great chicken and BBQ. Nice variety of sides. You don't find Brunswick Stew offered as a side in Norfolk VA! ? Unfortunately we ate as quickly as possible! The temperature inside was like a refrigerator! Way too cold. Counter service was good. Friendly atmosphere.

Everyone was so hospitable. Fried chicken was very awesome and the vinegar bbq sauce is why we stopped. I loved it. Took home two bottles. There was one of the employees on the floor getting refills for everyone. I didn’t expect that. Great atmosphere
