We just returned from visiting the Shallotte location and we were two of five people in the whole place excluding the staff. Service was with a smile but we chose not to stay because it was so noisy. Every chair moved for cleaning was uncomfortably loud. Utensils dropping in serving area. This Starbucks is poorly ran and poorly staffed. You can tell the employees are working as hard as they can but there are not enough to fulfill the volume of orders in a timely manner. I blame this on the owner. I have twice had to walk out without my drink that I placed a mobile order for because the drink was not even started by the time it was supposed to be ready. Waiting 30 minutes for a coffee order to even be started is crazy.
Shallotte NC Starbucks ... another unhappy experience. After my wife and I paid top dollar for her caramel macchiato, my dark roast with two shots, and a bacon egg gouda to "eat in" our morning turned into "help" ... We received our bacon egg gouda in about four minutes. I received my luke warm dark roast with two shots in about eight minutes.
