Never order boneless wings always get bone in no matter where you go this rings true for this place too. Not that I got the boneless wings but we were recommended to choose the bone in, which we were going to do anyways but the sauces were pretty good I got some sweet Asian chili or something and it was really good parmiaki did not exist at this place however you could make your own probably

I recently moved to shallotte and this is my Friday spot all the time. In some occasions I swing by on Thursday. Love this place, tried different plates and never disappointed. Flavor, taste and freshness all the time. High five to the chefs. I do want to mention kudos for 2 amazing gentlemen. Justin T has been our waiter a couple of times and he’s on it to assure you are good since the moment you are seated. The second is manager Cam, I hope I am spelling the name correctly. This manager is always going over and beyond. He helps he’s team specially on busy times. They are all very attentive and assuring your experience is at ?. My favorite dish Asian garlic wings and my husband’s the lobster Mac and cheese. You have to try this place you will not be disappointed at all.

So sad! We have frequented W&F for over 2 years and it used to be our go to place. However, the atmosphere and experience has changed and not for the better. There seems to be a large number of staff turnovers. We used to be greeted with friendly familiar faces but now we are greeted by strangers. Strangers that are not so welcoming. Service is barely adequate and probably due to lots of training we see going on. We often go on Sunday to watch the various NFL games that are being broadcasted there BUT... they don't even have a good handle on how to set up the screens in the bar. There are duplicate screens and missing games. This would never happen when Coach was there! We are now looking for a new place to watch games. Sorry to see this place go downhill. Hope they can figure out how to turn it around. No longer our favorite place. In fact, we think twice before going anymore.

We have enjoyed this restaurant for years, but today was exceptional. The food and portions were wonderful. However, the service was fantastic. Our waitress was Tabitha and she was the best waitress I have ever had any restaurant.

I went here with a friend for an early dinner. She ordered flounder and fried oysters. I had flounder and shrimp. As sides we both chose a baked potato and Cole slaw. The service was fairly quick and courteous even though the waitress failed to check back until we had finished eating. My flounder was mostly breading that had ballooned out and was very tough. Cutting through this I found a thin layer of fish. About half my shrimp had not been deveined. The Cole slaw had the same consistency and flavor as Walmart brand. For this abomination they charged $24.95. My friends flounder and oysters came to $25.95 with tea and tax bringing the bill to over $60.00 for two people.
Our service and entrees were on point! I had the Black & Blue salad with an ice cold Red Oak on draft.
