Delicious plates of greatness. I love the freezer rail on the whole length of the bar to keep your beers ice cold. The man that runs the music channel of blues is a great shuffler of the best blues around. Enjoy the bands that come in every time. Very nice to have the music piped out to the outdoor seating area. Beautiful bathrooms also.

They have Great food!! Only thing is they were slow they were down one person the waitresses sat there and talked i haded to get up and ask for another burger the burgers were the best!! The waitresses respectfully need to pay attention to customers.

Went to Shelby for some appointments and found this restaurant. The food was fresh. And very well seasoned. Classic rock was playing and the restaurant and bar are very well laid out. Definitely worth a trip.

First of all, the building is very cool and it has a great atmosphere. The service was fantastic too! My wife and I both got the brisket, and it was by far the best we have ever had anywhere!! We had hush puppies on the side and they were crunchy on the outside and so good. If you have never been here to eat, you really have to give it a try you won’t be disappointed! And did I mention, they play really good music while you’re eating. They really know what they are doing all the way around!

Wow, the food and service were great. I had some friends in town for some golf. They wanted good food and drinks before going back to Belmont. The waitress was great and had recommendations for us. The draft beer was fresh, cold and plentiful. We will definitely be back soon. 5 Stars all the way

Great atmosphere and beer selection! Nice place but food is small and very overpriced! Great place to drink and socialize but won’t eat here! I’ve had the food 3 times and it’s gets worse every time. Don’t come here hungry!

I'd like to share my visit to Izzi'Que Barbecue Restaurant & Pub. The restaurant was in downtown Shelby and it had a picturesque storefront. Upon entering I was promptly greeted. The main dining room was tastefully & comfortably laid out for a relaxing evening. I decided to try the bar area which was laid out quie nice with lots of music memorabilia. The bartender-K. served me a frosty michelob and took my order. She was friendly and kept a good check on me. The owner T. was very cordial and offered up one of their fabulous deviled eggs to top off my meal. It was a great pleasure to find this gem of a restaurant and will come back soon. I recommend Issi'Que for your dining pleasure.

Had a private party for about 60 people here recently. Tony, Patti, Ashley, Nicole and the rest of the staff did an amazing job making sure everything was perfect for our occasion. The food was great and Nicole did a fantastic job on the drinks. Couldn't be happier with the job they did.
First time at IzzyQ. Interesting old building, like the music motif. My waitress was very pleasant. Food was OK but pricy. 6 wings,…3 small sliders and 2 beers with tip $50. I asked for a small plastic container of BBq sauce to go,…$0.75. Really? THIS IS NOT A BBQ JOINT. I lived in Texas for 8 years, where BBQ is real. IzzyQ does not serve meat by weight,…no potato salad or collard greens?? Over all,…disappointing. Probably wont go back.

I went there last Wednesday with the intention of having lunch with a friend but they were closed. The sign said they would be open after 4 pm. They could at least have changed their hours on Google.

How is this a place. Zero customer service, over 30 minutes wait on BBQ, that should be already ready, when literally just ordering the meat… To-go… cold…. When there were zero people ordering or eating. $ 7.77, (feel like the owners are making fun of God or something) for A beer, not even a good beer, just the microbrews of the area, and Asheville’s vomit. The atmosphere is confusing at is appears to be trying for artsy, but cater to the red of necks, with the most devoid and blank staff I’ve ever encountered. .. avoid at every single thought.. it’s that bad… and if you where wondering The meat cannot be bought by the pound, because it’s preordered, portioned, and old as hell. And if you still want to try to swallow it, ask for extra extra sauce to help moisturize it or dunk it in water or something before you try to swallow ?. if you ask for no rice no potatoes etc. you will wait extra for them to scrape it off the pre plated food. Wonder if it comes from China ?
Parking: Well it’s next door to the jail and station. So you will get pulled over and you will get parking tickets, being around this place.
