My daughter and I visited the Japanese Express in Shelby for the first time today to try something new. The staff was very polite and informative there wasn't anywhere to sit and eat there which was a bummer but this food was OUTSTANDING! Will absolutely recommend ?

Staff goes above and beyond to be professional and very polite. Food is delicious. We eat there at least twice a week, and they are straight across the board each and every time !!! ?????

So freaking good. So much food for 60$ 3 adults & a toddler ate good ,& woke up with leftovers. Yummmmmmm. I love that it's both Japanese & Chinese food to. :) I mean I get it's all Asian cuisine but I love when it's all in one spot.

Absolute sweet people that work here. I once ordered a spider roll and the woman was excited for me to try it. She is so adorable I lover her. And I absolutely love the food here.
I'm just sad cause I haven't seen the place open in about a week and I've been wanting the sushi.

Ordered hibachi chicken and California rolls. Hibachi was ok (not great). The California rolls were so bad it literally had me vomiting. The meat must have been spoiled. ?

I don’t know what it is about the Japanese food here but the teriyaki chicken is always SO DRY and has absolutely no flavor at all.
