Good BBQ on the historic NC BBQ Trail. Good hushpuppies too.

The BBQ was dry and the sauce was super vinegarie, which is fine if you like that kind of thing, but they also didn't have other sauce options. Service was fine and atmosphere was good. I think I may just be spoiled by places like 12 bones and Luela's in Asheville who have more sauce options and juicier meat. That said the pricing was more than fair.

Had the chance for a wonderful experience at this lovely establishment, the food was delicious and we had 2 different options(BBQ chicken and bbq pulled pork) both get a five star

The waitress was friendly and service was great. I had the Barbecue sandwich plate and it was delicious. Great hush puppies too. Banana pudding was an added bonus.

We were escaping hurricane damaged area. Stopped in for a to go order. Had not eaten in twenty hours, it was so good and we were blessed by the food and the cheerfulness of the staff. Thank you. Hope to stop again on our way home as soon as we have power.

So they say they are open until 7 but they close at 5. They say we have a hurricane coming through so we are closing. The hurricane doesn't get here until tomorrow at 8am. Crazy, I will never return, they were pretty rude about it
