My wife and I visited Shelby for the first time. We just recently moved to NC. We Googled restaurants in inthe area and found Toscanos, and thought we'd give it a try. When we entered, the restaurant is inviting with tables and very large booths, and jazz playing overhead. My wife and I were seated at a table. She ordered a glass of wine, and me the designated driver, an ice tea.
The menu has plenty of choices, and there are also chalk board selections as you enter the restaurant.
My wife ordered a combination pasta (spaghetti ) with sausage, peppers, and mushrooms with a red sauce. I had the chicken pasta with a creamy garlic sauce, spinach and sun dried tomatoes. Because we were hungry, we also ordered an artichoke dip and we wanted to sample the soup of the day, " Lasagna Soup."
Our entrees both came with a very generous salad and garlic bread. Had we known any better, we probably would have skipped the other items, because this was plenty of food.
Everything we ordered was very good. The salads, soup, artichoke dip, garlic bread, and especially our pasta dishes.
I believe our server was Taylor, and she was very kind and attentive, as well as the gentleman that was busing the tables. We enjoyed our meal, and we'll definitely return to try other menu items.

Best place in Shelby great food and service was outstanding
The food here is spectacular! I know it is a bit pricey, but the cost is SO worth it! Besides, Toscanos has a Monday special with burgers being only $6 (I even think they come with a side and a drink)! They are so good! The pizza and Greek platters here are so awesome! I highly recommend this establishment if you love Mediterranean-Italian cuisine!

Our waitress Brooklyn was awesome! The food last night was amazing as always. The only thing we weren’t impressed with was the cheesy bread. It was like breadsticks with cheese on them (it was a hoagie roll cut into strips really) but the cheese didn’t stay on the bread and it was bland. We would much rather it have been cheese on our dinner bread. Otherwise everything we have ever gotten there has been amazing. Meat ravioli, salmon blackened, chicken Alfredo, lasagna, eggplant parm, chicken parm…. All delicious! Ask for Brooklyn for your waitress. She’s dynamite!

Mondays $6 burger and a side night-you cannot beat it and they are always delicious. Their fries are the best! Other bangers include their gyro platters, Greek chicken salad, ravioli, and garlic knots. I love the convenience and their service is always friendly and fast. My friend loves their bruschetta too! And on a complete side note-their bathrooms are so nice haha And they stock fem hygiene products for their guests to use if they are ever in a pickle, which is not something you see mostly anywhere else. Major bonus points for the care and thoughtfulness they put into their guests. The restaurant is always clean, neat and organized. We dine or order takeout from toscano’s regularly!
Very busy restaurant. I got a cheese pizza with extra cheese. They did not skimp on the cheese. Pizza was good, not your NY style pizza but good nonetheless. My hubby and I enjoyed it. Planning on going back soon...

Toscano’s bistro in Shelby, NC has delicious food. I am very particular when it comes to spaghetti sauce because I make my own from scratch, there is just absolutely delicious! I would recommend it and bring lots of real estate clients there.
Kid-friendliness: You can see the wagers and waitresses talking to little kids. It’s really cute.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps at the entrance and plenty of room to put a wheelchair at one of their tables.

My husband and i stopped in for dinner and were quite impressed! The service was exceptional, ask for Amber. She took very good care of us, she was knowledgable and professional. The decore makes you feel like you have slipped into Italy!
