Ordered two salads to go. Got home one salad was missing the meat and the other salad was full of water…. Like the lettuce had just been washed therefore the croutons were soggy. Unfortunately I did not check the food before I left but I guess I didn’t feel like I needed to…lesson learned.

Toscanos Bistro in Shelby is one of those rare spots that makes you feel like you've stumbled onto something special. Their menu blends classic Greek and Italian dishes, and everything I've tried has been full of flavor and freshness.
The real standout for me, though, is their Chicken Ala Francesca. It is hands down my favorite dish. It's a creamy chicken and mushroom pasta that's rich without being heavy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection every time. The sauce is so flavorful that you'll want to savor every bite (and maybe even grab some bread to soak up what's left on the plate).
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you're dining in for a cozy night out or picking up takeout. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you can tell they care about the food and the experience.
If you love Greek flavors, creamy pastas, and locally owned restaurants that go the extra mile, Toscanos Bistro is absolutely worth a visit. Also - they do an amazing job catering!

I was excited to try the meatball sub with a side of meatballs. It was average at best. There was nothing that really made it stand up against any other meatball sub. The sauce seemed straight off the grocery store shelf and the meatballs seemed to not have much flavor. My wife had the baked ziti and she felt the same. Contrast that with the garlic bread which was fantastic. 5 gold stars to the staff and their extremely attentive service. The wait staff did a fantastic job. I agree with another review, the place needs a make over.

The pizza was okay, but the chicken eith the mushroom & white wine sauce had little flavor. I also feel like this place needs a remodel, or to be brightened up a bit. Our server was nice and attentive, I just think they need a re-work of the menu and flavors.

Frequent this resturant often. Delicious dishes. Great Variety and good service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Specials frequently changed out. Never had to wait very long for seating. I personally love the red meat sauce.
