I'm born and raised in Philly and this girl has been searching for something close to home for pizza. This is the closest perfect place!

I didn't have a car and ordered from them very late. When I got back to my hotel and they delivered it to me special. Because I was unable to come out and get it myself. The food was absolutely wonderful. It's one of the best calzones that i've had since I left New York and great marinara sauce.

On March 19th 2025 I ordered 2 large pizzas with the basic toppings & 2 orders of wings (mild & BBQ) from this place. When I first walked in I noticed how filthy the restaurant looked and watched an employee handle pizza dough & toppings & then go to the cash register to handle money then back to making his pizza without wearing protective gloves, this is just gross & unsanitary. My pizzas were about as thin as a Kleenex & tasteless and my wings were what looked like wing soup just drenched in the sauces, and not cooked to what I asked for. Very very disappointing & for $68.00 I could’ve gotten a better meal at Pizza Hut. I’ll never go back to Angelo’s pizza & will not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Best authentic pizza around!! The owner makes the pizzas and works hard everyday of the week, really nice guy

Pizza is fine, if it is delivered anywhere near the time specified. Usually cold and delivered over an hour and half after order and its only 10 minutes away...

Catering a Large Group: We had a retreat event for 70 high school students, and Angelos provided 9 large Lasagna w Meat trays and 2 large baked Spaghetti Trays all with bread knots and 2 large Salads - IT WAS AMAZING, food was top notch, best lasagna we had ever had, everyone students and adult leaders raved about how amazing the lasagna, salad, bread knots and all of it was - Olive Garden doesn't even come close. Thank you to the owners for the superb work, and they even called back later that evening to make sure we enjoyed the food and followed up. I always order the fettuccine Alfredo takeout when not feeling well. But yesterday My Cesar salad was warm & wilted and the Alfredo was not good. $24 later it’s all in the trash. Very disappointing

Vegetarian options: I wanted my Alfredo plain but was forced to select either chicken or shrimp.

Pizza amazing sandwich great it deserves 5 stars.

We’ve eaten here a number of times and the food is always piping hot, so cold food should never be a problem. I know it’s never been a problem for us. The chicken parm is my fav food here, the cheese ravioli is good but might be more cheese on it than i prefer because it has a thick cheese wall to break through so if you love cheese you’ll love that. The place itself is tiny and could use a face lift but the people are always nice when i come in.
