“Wonderful experience! Me and my wife went not knowing what to expect and were thoroughly surprised by our time there. The service was fast, enjoyable, and on the ball with Jack as our waiter! And while the service was wonderful, it is a crime to neglect the food! We ordered the carnivore mac and the Mutha Clucka and on both the meats were cooked perfectly, not a second under or over. And then there is the mac and cheese. The mac was creamy, rich, and filling beyond end. I cannot recommend 815 Gormet Grill enough. if you want a local diamond in the rough, this is the spot to be!!!”

“Unapologetically a bar. But a bar that serves outstanding f00d. If you have 30 minutes for lunch this is not for you. Everything is prepared fresh. But if you can relax for a few minutes with a couple draft beers you will be rewarded with a treat you won't regret.”

“Went to the Smithfield, NC location to have breakfast with my sister before shopping at the outlet stores. We both had the Benny-biscuits - not sure of how they spell it. It’s basically Eggs Benedict, but over easy and on a biscuit. We both chose the bacon variety and a caramel latte. Absolutely delicious, beautiful presentation and plenty of it! Our server, Kenzie was great!”

“I go for the live entertainment on certain nights. The barstool type seating at the tables is horrendous and can only sit for a short while. The seating at the bar is much better and provides back support.”

“I've been coming here since the 90s and went for my uncle's birthday this time. Plenty of room to move around the bar, the mid room, and the outside porch. Super quaint with cold beers and good people. Stop in and get you one.”

“Great views of the airport tarmac and just the outside with large windows. Inside and outside seating was great!! We had a group of 8. Nacho appetizer was phenomenal and my favorite of all I tried. Spinach and artichoke was good but a little bland (a little more seasoning and it could be spot on). Several got salads that they all liked. Several got quesadillas and loved them. One got brisket which was good but cut too thick which made it difficult to bite. I got smoked chicken breast which I did not finish. It was over cooked and very dry. The chicken did have a good smoke flavor that was not over powering. The cheese in my Mac n cheese curdled so was not my fav side. You can't go wrong for the atmosphere. Even though there were a few things I didn't like I will still try again.”

“I have been going to the White Swan since I was a little girl with my grandmother. My dad is 81 this year and he and my mother have been going for years. They used to go on their dates there. Best food ever.”

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food has always been amazing. My wife tried there taco salad last night. It looked more like cream of mushroom soup. Something went wrong with the portions of ingredients. We showed our waitress. She said “you stirred it to much” The manager came over without us complaining to her and apologized and said she was embarrassed. She heavily discounted the bill to try to make things right. We appreciate that and will definitely return. Our waitress Brenda seemed to insinuate we just wanted free food and drinks. Even though I handed her a 20% cash tip for the un discounted check amount. And told her the food wasn’t her fault. Everything else was great as usual. And the manager made every effort to insure a positive experience. El Barzon is a great place to eat. We highly recommend it.”

“Dear hombre Mariscos. Today I took a very special lady to your place. We walked in and were greeted by a very nice guy and were seated on the patio on a beautiful day. I ordered a taco salad and she had some of your tacos. The food was very fresh and delicious. The staff were very nice and on top of everything. We have been here a couple times before and always been happy with your establishment. We did notice the portion sizes a little bit smaller, but that’s to be expected nowadays. But the quality of food is always top-notch. Your place is always on point and we look forward to coming back again. Thanks for a delightful meal.”

“Hidden gem! This place is a nonprofit located inside the medical mall of Smithfield across from the hospital. They use actual eggs on a grill to make breakfast sandwiches (not microwaved). They help people with accessibility by providing jobs and helping adults learn skills for independence. Very friendly staff, lovely baked goods and sandwiches.”

“Came here for the first time with my sister and mom. We are always searching for the best authentic mexican and this place delivered in the biggest way!! We ordered an asada taco, gordita and sope and they were delicious! The steak was so tender. We ordered a side of rice and beans and both were very good! They bring out three different salsas, cabbage and lime for everything. There was a green salsa that was very flavorful without the heat, a medium salsa that was my fave, definitely had some heat that I love and a super spicy one. The aguas frescas and horchata was delicious. You definitely should check the place out! Forgot to get a pic until we were finished?”

“I gave it 5 stars because of the food. It is very much homestyle mexican cooking with some foods never found hardly anywhere. Foods are fresh and hot. Keep walking if atmosphere is what you need. It is a small cafe. It has a wall menu, a selection of deli style foods are offered with some daily specials. You can sit-in or take out. They have the traditional menu of tacos, carnitas, beans, rice, salsas, baked chicken, Aguas Frescas. After that it's more homestyle cooking like Mexican grandma use to make. I tried out the Chicaronnes en Salas for the 1st time. It was delicious ? I had the Frijoles Charro instead of the refried beans. They were cooked with cilantro, onions, jalapeños to a creamy texture, excellent taste. These are very sweet and sincere people the two times I've been there. It's off the beaten path of mexican restaurant food but worth it.”

I don't know if the bartender was hating or what, but she was very unfriendly and didn't make my drinks neat Per requested, but added lots of ice. “For a Chinese strip mall joint, this place is actually 5 stars for appearance. I had to give a neutral 3 because it is still a strip mall eatery that is meant mostly for take out. I assume people do use the lobby at lunch time to escape the heat and enjoy a meal, but this is very school house cafeteria vibes. The food is always great and portions that barely fit into the plate. My favorite place for Chinese takeout is China king from mcgees xrds!! “Benson, NC””

“Obviously one of the more popular places to eat, as there was about a 10 minute wait in line to place my order. I got two country ham biscuits and the food had a great taste, but the biscuits were doughy inside. Probably needed a little more time to cook. But - as I said, the taste was great.”
