The food is very good and seems authentic. The staff is always very nice and attentive to the guests. It has a good bar feel to it, for anyone that just wants a cozy place to go enjoy some good food.
Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu and my son loves visiting. He can get exactly what he wants and they are very friendly to him.
Greatest Mexican Restaurant in smithfield. Their horchata is really good and they always get me refills on chips and drinks without me having to ask. Food is really good too.

Food was just... AWFUL. I'm so tired of these sub-par restaurants receiving 4+ star ratings on Google Maps. I finally tried this place after driving by it many times over the years. 4.3 star average rating - what have I got to lose? Turns out, $30 is what. The best part of the meal was the chips and salsa, and even that was pretty bland. None of the actual food was seasoned. The ground beef was just cooked to grey. I doubt they even salted it. The refried beans were essentially just paste and cold. The rice was tasteless, but at least somewhat warm. Aside from the food, the service and atmosphere was nice.
Recommended dishes: Camarones, Carnitas Estilo Michoacán, De Carnitas, Enchiladas Mexicanas, Molcajete de Pollo

One of me and the wife's favorite date night locations. The staff is always very nice and welcoming. It's a cool and calm atmosphere in here, never too loud. Easy to have a conversation with the person sitting across from you. Food is great! Always pleased with our meal.
