My family and I went here yesterday. The food quality and the intergirty of what you are getting has gone down. I ordered the baby flounder plate. It was literally 1 fish that was sliced straight down the sides of the fish 4 times. Or possibly scrap pieces that they have sliced from other fish. You could barely see any meat in each piece, which made it taste like cardboard. I get that the economy isn't what it used to be but to even plate someones food like that was ridiculous. I want what I pay for not a down sized portion. I cook alot of fish so it wasn't hard to point out. I'm not the type of person to send my food back not knowing what someone will do to it. They have upgraded the inside which is nice. The table are cleaned but the floors are never swept. We arrived aroudn 4:30pm so there is hardly anyone in there at all. This should be the opprotunity to do a deep clean before the rush. I doubt that I will return back to this location again.

Worst service and the management is a joke! Won’t be long before they are out of business anyway

Tried this location for the first time. Nice atmosphere with a fireplace. The seafood platter was good, but the crab dip was excellent !! That dip is a must-have every time. Definitely will be returning.

Great place to enjoy a quiet meal with the family. Nice customer service. I enjoyed the catfish. Carry out or dine in. Also, they received the good business award from the local marine corps league. IMO, that's definitely a plus.
Kid-friendliness: My kids really enjoyed it.

This is better than Mayflower Seafood in Raleigh. Thank you.
Not a lot of food for the money and seafood's flavor is just okay at this location

I had fried popcorn shrimp, Mac/cheese, hush puppies and house salad. The shrimp and hush puppies were fried to perfection. The house salad was big! It had lettuce, tomatoes, bacon bits, cheese and onions. The Mac/cheese was pretty good. Exceptional service.

First time here is now the last time! Poor service, no drink refills. People who came in after us were served food first. When ours finally came out (after a waiter brought the wrong order to our table) it was barely luke warm! Being diabetic, I needed to eat and did not want to wait longer for the platters to be redone. Extremely disappointed!!

First time at this location, I will surely return.
I splurged on the platter, lemon cake and clam chowder. I did not know until I pulled off, there was a small service fee added, like $1.95.
I almost gave five stars but the breading didn’t stick to scallops, the jumbo shrimp didn’t appear to be deveined, the whitefish was tasteless and no utensils were packed in my bag.
Hey it would be nice to add lemon with the condiments too. I’m not sure if the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce are homemade but they had good flavor.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parked next to a handicap spot near the side door. I didn’t notice where a ramp was located but noted there was a very high curb to step up. Most customers showed cautiousness stepping up and needed to touch a parked car for balance. Also the door has to be pulled open. That could create a challenge in a wheelchair or on crutches.

The last few times we have eaten there, their fried flounder was dry and barely any fish, mainly just the fried batter. Last night, we thought we would try it again and, unfortunately it was dry and loaded with bones. When paying the bill, the cashier asked how was dinner, I try told her unfortunately it was not good. She didn’t ask why, just took my money and we left and won’t be back. It’s really sad because their flounder dishes at one time were very good, I feel the quality of their food has definitely declined.
Fantastic seafood and great service keeps me coming back
