Came here on my break from work to get dinner for myself I only had about 30 minutes to get food and get back to work. I ordered then proceeded to wait for 15-20 minutes in the drive thru behind a car. There was no update on when my food would be ready. I finally pulled around and went inside. Then was told me food wasn’t ready so I had to leave with no food and wasted my entire break. No apology or anything.

The manager does a awesome job at making sure if something is wrong with your order it is corrected or refunded.

Sat in drive thru for over 20 minutes with no communication. When I finally got my food I asked for a refund or something and was told "I can give you a refund but I'm gonna take your food back". Seriously? You made me wait with no communication for over 20 minutes and then pull that? Nah, that's not how you manage anything.

My family and I planned for 2 days to visit this location as we'd never been here. And boy were we totally disappointed. We sat in lane 2 for almost 40 min for our order, only to have someone drive up beside us, order, receive their meal, eat, and drive off!!! And we received our meal... can i tell you the shakes were melted down (looked like milk in a cup), burgers were cold, & the fries were lanky & barely lukewarm! And to think it was a $63 tab! Ru serious? Totally unbelievable! It wasn't like they were busy inside or outside. There were approximately 2 cars that pulled up after my family... inside was practically empty! Total waste of our time, yet it supposed to be a more efficient fast food establishment. Fast? Not true! So not like what we're used to from Sonic's service. Sonic's food has always been fast & hot! Dkn what happened with this location.

I don’t know if I got lucky, but the food was good. It came fast and it was pretty good. My child enjoys eating sonic and so do I. Also the iced coffee was great had the right amount of sweetness. The chili cheese tots were great too I will definitely come back again if I’m near town.

Drive through service needs improvement. When ordering food, we kept feeling rushed. Then when we received our food the order was incorrect.

workers look dirty and have horrible hygiene, teeth are rotten and they don’t look like they take care of themselves. As i pulled up to the drive-thru window i saw the cook with pink dreads preparing food without any gloves on and the crazy part is the gloves were right next to him , there was also a large heavyset man with messy gray hair bagging food without any gloves on and i saw him putting his hands over the fries to put them in the bag. what seems to look like the night time manager (burgundy wavy hair short white woman) has a horrible attitude and does not know how to give good customer service. After all i saw i sped out the drive thru and didn’t get anything , if you care about your health and wellbeing DON’T EAT HERE !

Chicken sandwhiches were great, fries were cold and had to keep fending off flies. No refills when dining in, grafiti still in bathroom a week later after being told, and had to argue three times to get a second cheap plastic fork as I explained repeatedly I was splitting my chilli cheese fries with my mother. One mint regaurdless of how many meals/drinks purchursed, this place feels like it purposely cuts corners to make it feel like they are being cheap. All fastfood and dine in places around smithfield have the bare minimum of free refills and when you ask them for utensils or sauce will give it to you without questioning you repeatedly and explaining 'its in the bag'. Yes I understood ONE fork was in the bag, but I needed 2 because we were splitting the chilli chese fries between 2 people. Only one worker was kind enough to appologize and hand us extra's after I explained myself three times to people who were less then patient and more annoyed that I even bothered. Dine in is really no longer worth it, its better just to go through the drive through and leave.

Gentleman with dreads that works the window, prepares food AND takes orders out to the cars doesn't get paid windows. I'm always happy and satisfied ordering from here.

This is the 3rd time I have visited the Sonic on Brightleaf. Just gross. The food is ALWAYS over cooked, tough and almost burnt. Today, the food was over cooked and smelled so bad of old grease that I ended up giving it to my dogs.

Food is good workers are a couple watts short of a light bulb. Give my order face to face because drive through cannot get it right and it is instantly repeated back to me wrong. Instantly face palm moment. Everyone in there is somehow fighting for last place minus the cook. Again the food was good. Will very very unlikely ever return.
