My wife and I had breakfast here today. The food was delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I typically have too add salt to my hash browns and didn't have to here. We will definitely be back soon.

The saving Grace for this restaurant is that it’s cheap, less than $10 a person which was nice, but the food was mediocre at best. I got a tenderloin and gravy biscuit with a side of grits. The tenderloin was okay, not well seasoned, and pretty small, but wasn’t over cooked and was edible. The gravy was bland, and the biscuit was… sweet? I think that’s the most egregious part of this meal. There was a sweet taste to the biscuit that I just didn’t like. It was a well made biscuit, it was soft and pillowy, but the sweet taste ruined it. My husband got a sausage and gravy biscuit, he also said the sweet taste was off putting, and there was so little sausage in the gravy it may as well have been just a gravy biscuit. The grits were your typical diner grits, a little runny, and add your own salt, pepper and butter. The “butter” they had on the table was not butter but a hydrogenated oil which has no taste. I did not ask if they had real butter so maybe they do, if not, I’d skip the hydrogenated oil.I honestly can’t recommend this place, unless you just want a cheap breakfast, but in my opinion there is better cheap food available in the area. Obviously other people love this place. We eat at a lot of restaurants and love discovering small unknown restaurants. We have just had way better food at similar places, so maybe this restaurant is just bad in comparison, but we won’t be revisiting The Frying Pan unfortunately.

It's a good ole fashion breakfast place, where locals gather and eat. Goid place to experience that small town feel. The meals are made to order, the coffee is hot and overall a really good place to dine if you want to kickback and relax.
