I LOVE this place, but they have horrible hours. Today, for example, the hours posted are 8 to 3. I drove 45 minutes just to get their amazing coffee only to arrive at noon and they were closed. I can't count the number of times I've tried to go here only for them to be closed without it being posted online and during their posted business hours. It's ridiculously frustrating.

Dear Mr and Mrs Pear. My wife and I were checking out coffee shops this morning and came upon your quaint little establishment. When we walked in, we were amazed by the atmosphere, and the architecture of the building was amazing. Y’all did an amazing job restoring the building, but the tiny details that were built so long ago for us to enjoy now. Your staff was delightful and cherry and a pleasure to talk to. Plus you had a very nice variety of drinks and coffee that we will have to come back a couple more times to check out others. We also look forward to coming back and trying some of your amazing food. We look forward to coming back and maybe meeting you one day if you’re there. This is a great little shop if anyone’s close, you must check it out.

Love this place! The atmosphere is comfortable, and the coffee is top notch, but I was most impressed by the customer service. So friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this coffee shop enough!
Based on the reviews for this place I was looking forward to lunch here. The place is cute, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is great but the food is seriously lacking. The portions are small and none of the food we ordered was good. I would go back but just for coffee and ambiance.

A place to wind down or rev up. The Americano coffee was HOT HOT and excellent while I waited for my Breakfast Flatbread (sans meat), the secret sauce on the side made it very tasty! The eclectic room and tables were comfortable and password for wifi was available. I'm making this my new "must stop by" when IN Smithfield. Closes at 3pm. The menu is very good for a coffee shop! and visit the 2nd floor dining area for a "get away"!!!
